Tyra’s “Smizing” concept is ridiculous. I honestly get the feeling that at times (if not most of the time) she makes up these tip ans tricks off the top of her head in effort to sound like she knows what she’s talking about. The models she turns out aren’t even “top models.” They usually become commercial.
This episode was weak for its lack of focus on the photoshoot and the final product. I disagree with others saying that the concept of teh cast ins’t a good one. I think this is one of the better seasons in terms of the makeovers chosen for the girls (More to complement the girls than for shock value) and the strength of the girls. I think at this point there are quite a few strong people. Nicole, Laura, Rae, Brittney, and I forget the other chick’s name are all great at taking pictures. I think Sundai and Jennifer are the weakest links and will be the next two out if Cara’s personality and attitude don’t get her kicked out first.
Tyra needs to make the girls wear heels!!
Jennifer really annoys me..she gets fake excited about everything.. Also has a marble eye, could never be a model..
Has anyone else noticed that Rae looks exactly like Naomi Watts? I think she’s very pretty and I love Lauren’s personality! Lauren FTW!
What makes people think it’s Tyra’s idea to make all the models wear flats? I know it’s her show and she produces it but it could have been someone else who suggested it…
To make the show more fresh Tyra needs to celebrate MALE models. She showed two of her Male finds in last weeks show so why not make a whole series (sorry…Cycle) of it.
Rox—despise you for being a Sundai hater! At least the girl has some personality. If she knew how to work the camera, she actually has a most excellent speaking voice. Up until Bianca and Ashley (both serious thank gawd they were finally expelled moments) were eliminated, I was beginning to think all of my favorites were on the out’s. Good to see Tyra and the gang came to their senses.
