I think that some fans went way overboard. Rob nor the other casts had no idea that Twilight will launch them to fame. Great, but they have lives as well. He seriously needs a break from all these. I do hope Hollywood fame will not ruin him, as what it did to others. It may be difficult but I hope he can handle it. So far, he does it well. He has great talent I think.
It’s kind of funny to see an EW writer looking down her nose at obsessed Pattinson fangirls when it was likely HER 24/7 “Rob brushed his teeth this morning” coverage that contributed to said obsessions. The media feeds the fangirls’ demand for this poor guy, then turns around and wonders why there’s an obsession and if it might not be healthy. Well, DUH.
And great point by Elly, above. Obsessed Trekkies are losers, but obsessed Pattinson fangirls have brand power? Double standard much?
I think Robert Pattinson is a nice guy, a talented actor, and suffers from having one of those beautiful faces. He’s gorgeous, and shy, and seems nice, so people go insane. But basically I think they want Edward Cullen, not Robert; Stephenie Meyers wrote about an ideal man. In real life EC might bore the pants off of someone; too damned perfect. Yes, just my opinion!

I think Skaarsgard is handsome but he just looks like every other actor or model out there. Rob is just unique- he is a mix of old hollywood and add a good helping of grunge. it is nice to see him each and everyday. Yep robsessed too but I am also protective of him. So not really keen on this DVD.
