This guy went from being someone I felt very sorry for after always seeing clips on the Soup to being one of the most despised men on TV due to his overt dbaggery. It’s quite amazing to be honest — the closest thing I can compare it to is when Hulk Hogan went heel and joined the NWO back in the 90s. A total fall from grace. At least the Hulkster was still enjoyable in his villified state.

Guess I’m the only one that thinks Kate has gotten what she deserves. Actually she’s coming out of this smelling like a rose and poor Jon is the bad guy. I’m so glad he’s away from her and that stupid show now and living like a person should instead of that ranting lunatic yelling at him all the time. Kate is nuts. She’s making her kids nuts. Won’t watch the show without Jon. Only sane on in the bunch. Those two older kids are screamers just like their mom.
If by “living like a person should” means dipping your noodle into whatever skanky flavor of the minute waggles her available assests within arms reach, well then, I guess Jon has it all figured out and should do quite well for himself as the poster boy for herpes. Go Jon, knock yourself out. As for Mady and Cara (they do have names you know) they behave pretty much as one would expect of almost nine year olds going through the upheaval of their parent’s divorce. If you want to watch perfectly behaved litte robot children then go tune in to the Duggar family.

I believe Jon was really put upon by Kate. She was very depreciative, bossy and contolling. He could do nothing without her comment. BUT, that being said I feel the children are now just a money, living, machine for Kate and Jon. I will not watch anymore, it is ridulous to crucify just Jon. I really do not blame him for wanting to feel more like a man than a subordinate to Kate. Kate and Jon now though just want the fame and money. The kids are the ones being used and hurt.
If he wanted to feel more like a man and less like a subordinate he should have asserted and established himself as such rather than whining and crybabying himself into the status of a ninth dependant. Kate was a single parent looooong before the divorce papers were filed.

This entire article is a joke. Jon signed up for a reality show in order to make a helluva lot of money. He succeeded. He acted immaturely (apparently in tandem with his wife, although it is far easier to speculate than to walk in someone else’s shoes), and is now on the brink of divorce. Now we are asked to view him as the “surprisingly sane” parent. How sane is it to market your children in order to make money? I could care less what he does now. The only interesting thing he could do that might have some benefit would be to get into some very sustained therapy. That would benefit both himself, his children, and his soon-to-be ex-wife. Also, a real job in the real world couldn’t hurt either.
Although I am glad Jon is off the show since he has shown no enthusiasm since the split, do remember that it was Kate that wanted the split BEFORE Jon ever went out & was photographed partying. Also, she’s the one that refused to go to marriage counseling so Jon went by himself. She started the whole thing a long time ago by treating Jon like a dog. She got what she deserves. And the kids will be fine. Lots of kids go through divorce. They get a lot more than most kids get.
