YES! Michael Emerson winning almost makes up for NPH and JP losing…almost.
I sorta love that, while theaters increasingly turn to film/TV actors to put butts in the seats, two actors with roots in the theater (Emerson and Jones) are winning Emmys.
Don’t forget Kristin Chenoweth. She started in theatre, and has a Tony.
Glenn Close also started in theatre before breaking into feature films in the early eighties. She has multiple Tony nominations too.

I second your motion. I’m glad TAR won too. The spring season was one of the best ever. I’m glad Victor and Tammy won. And the cheerleaders and Luke/Marge made it worthwhile to see too. Now Phil has to win the Emmy.
Love that Kristin Chenowith won but how could they not give it to NPH and Jim Parsons! What a shame! NPH is doing a great job hosting though..was expecting a little more time given to his comedy shtick though. Guess there is only so much time.
yea i wish nph won too! i don’t watch how i met your mother once, but i’ve seen reruns and he’s really funny and doing an amazing job hosting! i sure hope he hosts the oscars. he’ll make it more enjoyable now that it will be even longer.

You know you didn’t really have to read this article, it is really a choice. It is pretty clear that the article was going to announce winners! If you don’t want to know, turn it off.
But they posted this UP FRONT an hour before the show even started here on the West Coast. THEY ALWAYS do that. Even for finale shows for Idol, SYTYCD and DWTS – they actually wait until the show is broadcast on the west coast before blurting out the winners.
2 Suggestions: move to the East Coast (kidding), or avoid Entertainment Websites and pretty much ALL major news websites on Awards Days until after you watch the program. They’re all gonna post the same information after it airs live. I was watching the Emmy’s an hour behind when it was airing, and couldn’t check the 200+ tweets that hit my phone because I knew they would spoil something. That’s just the way it is!
