I have been a faithful fan of Survivor from season 1…never missed it and never will….There are some that have been more enjoyable then others but the sheer brilliance of Survivor is there is no way to figure it out ahead of time each season. You throw 20 strangers together, from different social, geographic, age, gender and economic backgrounds and togther and strip away everything that defines them in the real world and just sit back and watch as they scramble to find their position in the “pack”. It is amazing. What amazes me each season is how offended and self rightious people get about their fellow players not being “honest” or “faithful” to their alliances while they themselves back-stab, plot and lie to try and win that million dollars…It reminds me of an old joke I heard as a kid….A man asks a lady in a bar if she would sleep with him for 1 million dollars, she giggles and says yes. He then asks if she would sleep with him for $10 and she gets angry and huffs “What do you take me for?” “That,” says he, “we have established we are just trying to agree on price.” THAT is Survivor! No matter how people want to pretty it up 20 people have been thrown together with one goal in mind….that $1 Million prize and trying to justify to themselves how to get it. I think Evil Russell is a horrible person and would never want him as a friend, but will he be effective on Survivor? Pretty good chance he will because he is not there to befriend anyone, he has his eye on the prize and everyone on his tribe and the other eventually will only be pawns in his way to use to get to that end. I love this show and I envy Jeff, what a great job. As long as they keep making Survivor I will keep watching and bottom line, I could care less who wins, it is the journey that is a blast to watch not the destination……..Now start opening the show up to Canadians Mark, Jeff…c’mon we wanna play too!

I want Whitney Duncan to realize she made a HUGE mistake cheating on her Husband Donny Fallgatter. Can’t wait to see him on Sweet Home Alabama on CMT!

whether russell is a millionaire oil tycoon or not, he IS playing the game! and everyone in it! got to give him credit for that if you like him or not! p.s. jeff will you marry me?!

I’ve got an idea regarding a premise for Survivor.
How about recruiting people who are age 40-60 only. No more preppies, no more prima donnas, just real people who may or may not have lived the “life of a survivor” sometime in their life.
I think it would make for some very interesting enertainment.

I have been a Survivor fan since day one. I must say I am sick over this evil Russell. I find it hard to believe that he not only found the hidden idol the first time without a clue and now tonight he suddenly finds the second idol, again WITHOUT A CLUE. I’m beginning to think this show is fixed and a bit of a scam. I am very disappointed in Survivor because there is no way this could happen without it being fixed. Evil Russell is not that smart and quite frankly I am insulted that the Survivor staff would do this to your loyal fans- obviously for ratings. Definately not my favorite show any more.

Russell is an absolute genius. I watch the show simply for him. For those who say he is creepy and stalks people, I am sorry you prefer bitchy Laura, and her string-bean assistant, who I find is extremely creepy – like child molester level. Russell, out of all the survivors I’ve ever watched, is my favorite. Shambo is another one of my favorites, and if she won I’d be happy as well. I am all for Team ” Foa Foa, ” and I look forward to Laura going home next!!!

I have watched this dumbass show since the onset BUT no more. Who can believe that Russell is the owner of an oil company (what, 2 cans of Quaker State). Who else believes he could have possibly found all of the idols? NOT me! I now know this show is rigged and completely stupid. When did a tie come up in the past? How funny they started talking about it way before tribal council. I can’t believe the hours of my life I’ve wasted on this dumbass show and will never get back. NO MORE!!!! GOOD BYE survivor forever!!!!!

I have watched Survivor since it first started but this season was extremely disappointed. This year, the focus was on RUSSELL and not on Survivor. It was a “set up” from the begining to me when Russell found three idols. It was clear that the producers had to find a way to keep him on the show since he would never have lasted otherwise. There used to be a challenge to finding the Idols in the past, this time he was essentially given them on a silver platter . I truly felt prior to this season that Survivor involved much more than “keeping safe” by idol gifts for someone as stupid as Russell. Too bad, I thought there was more to the show than that. Not sure if I can ever watch it again .

I have a Masters Degree, but did not grow up in the conmputer age. I’m lucky I have a computer. Anyway, from what I can see, you are still back in 2010 and in another week it will be 2012. I guess I lost again. Happy Holidays, and I do mean thast sincerely…Sheila
