Really?!? Less than four months after Susan Boyle — who performed tonight — was robbed of her rightful victory on Britain’s Got Talent, so did Read the full post.

    w. vest, just FYI, Diversity performed yesterday in front of Britain’s prime minister and they will soon be performing in front of Queen Elizabeth II.

Barbara Padilla should have won!!! She was 100% better than Kevin. I agree with Lynda, who would pay all that money to see kevin who can’t keep us interested in watching after 20 min.

Barabara will get a recording contract just like Susan Boyle (who did not win, but has a great voice) and outshine Kevin in every way.

  • Sandy

and you must remember that an opera singer won last year’s competition.

I tuned in at the quarterfinals because I can’t stand the wacky auditioners. I never was moved by Kevin, despite his humble looks. His “Always on my Mind” sounded flat, even Anoop’s version on AI resonated more deeply. The T.Tenors had moments, and Lawrence B. needs stage coaching but I liked his voice. Drew actually has potential but probably should go on Idol; Recycled Percussion was catchy. Sorry, I rooted for Fab Five or Voices of Glory. Actually, I missed both dog acts!

    • sandee

Yea, the dog act was better than Skinner.

      • Jessie

Opinions are like A**holes, everyones got one and mine is that I’d rather be able to understand the lyrics. Opera sucks..
Kevin won by popular vote so get over it..

  • Linda

Listen to all of you!! This is about raw talent, raw talent. Everyone was great, and the judges said themselves, with a professional teaching, Kevin, will be a much better singer. What’s wrong with that. All of those others are sure to be approached by someone to lead them in the right direction. Can’t you just be a little happy for someone with a dream. Forget the money! He gave it his all, as did the others, but the good people voted, and THEY LIKED HIM!!!

    • sandee

I am not saying anything about raw talent, we are saying about actual talent. But he was NOT the best!!!!!!

  • countrygirl

I absolutely love country music and I really wanted Kevin to be amazing but he was just average. Was he likeable? Yes, but like so many other people have mentioned, he will not be able to sustain a show in Vegas. If he were to audition for American Idol he would never make it.

    • Julia

I really did not like the runner-up I hate that style of music. The best guy won.

      • Ralph

The best did not win. He should have placed sixth or seventh.

  • Shane

Kevin Skinner is a slap in the face to any struggling country singer in Nashville. There are 50 guys singing on the street corner for change with more talent than he’ll ever have.

    • Jason

Well perhaps they should have auditioned then.

  • Chris

For the life of me I con’t figure this out. He was horrible almost every performance. I usually made it through about half af Kevin’s performances until I could not stand it anymore nad had to fast forward. Monday night was especially excruciating.

  • w. vest

To Stand corrected, Being banquet servers and bussing tables is not what we consider performing in the U.S.A. Late, warren

    • Stand corrected

What do you mean? They danced for the PM and will dance for the Queen. Not bus boys, brilliant dancers.

      • w. vest

It’s a joke. My brother in law is one of the tenors. just yankin your chain a little. Oh by the way thank my dad, he was in wwII.

  • Christi

Kevin Skinner’s win last night was a travesty. ANY of the other Top 10 would have deserved it more than this off-key, twangy chicken catching wannabe talent. Either the results were rigged or Skinner got the vote because America is obsessed with country music and he was their only choice. I’ll never watch AGT again.

  • MJ

I wont watch anymore. RIP OFF! Barbara most talented. Grandma Moses will get some gigs before she dies. Percussion is a Blue Man Group rip off.

  • Bryan

It should have been between Barbara Padilla and Recycled Percussion

  • JB

I cannot believe that Kevin Skinner won. This shows America’s mentality. For God’s sake, this is a talent show not a charity case. If you want to have a charity show, then by all means vote for Kevin Skinner. He does not even come close to the likes to Barbara Padilla. I am very disappointed in the voting. This is a talent show, not a charity show which is how it ended.

  • Better things to do

The Chicken guy won?? Really?? Not sure I wouldhav evoted for the opera lady either. I say take those phones away from anyone south of the Mason-Dixon Line…they screw up American Idol every year too!!

    • Jazzy

      Too true.

    • Jason

I don’t think those south of the Mason-Dixon are going to lose sleep over your disapproval. But you keep it up, you are the true vision of what we should all aspire too.

  • janet

Kevin Skinner had a heckuva’ lot to overcome and I give him kudos for that. However, was he the most talented person up on that stage? Resoundingly, no. I agree that he did get the sympathy vote and my husband seems to think we’ve been watching this right along with people who have televisions but no indoor plumbing. What’s done is done, but I really don’t think you’ll catch me wasting any more of my time watching this show.
