#1 – Glee – A breath of fresh air amongst the many television shows that seem like variations on old themes. The singing is superb, the humor is edgy, and the acting is incredible!
#2 – The Office – It feels like it’s been SO long! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for JAM and the pregnancy.
#3 – The Emmys – The Superbowl of television. My favorite night of the year. I. Cannot. Wait.
1) “House”-It returns Monday! House in the asylum? Hugh Laurie? House/Wilson bromance? What’s not to love? I bought the DVDs this summer & I am straight up addicted this show. Plus the “Grounds for Divorce” promos are fantastic. I can’t wait!
2) Modern Family: I am super excited about “The Office” returning, but since you’ve all ready mentioned it, I’m picking this new ABC comedy. It looks absolutely hilarious.
3) Garfunkel & Oates: After finishing my “Scrubs” season 8 DVDs, I was curious about the Gooch (aka Stephanie Micucci). After an online search I discovered the adorable & hilarious Garfunkel & Oates. They may not be new to the scene, but they’re new to me & I’m happier for it.
Movies – Amanda Seyfried in “Jennifer’s Body”
DVDs – “Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death”
Books – “American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot” by Craig Ferguson
Book: Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris because these books are like crack.
TV: Dexter – because um, the cast and the writing, and now John Lithgow!
AND The Office because Pam and Jim get married and Michael will probably ruin it in a hilarious way.
totally agree with the return of Dexter – can’t wait to see Lithgow as a serial killer – the man can play a great bad guy and its been a while since we’ve seen him be one
I’ve been loving the Huffington Post’s recaps of Project Runway… so funny and bitchy and unlike anything else on the site… http://www.huffingtonpost.com/una-lamarche/iproject-runwayi-episode_b_283417.html
The recaps are actually better than the show (sorry, Lifetime).
