Clip du jour: Indiana Jones 'premake'

What if Raiders of the Lost Ark were a pulpy movie from the 1950s, about an archeologist who’s “handy with his whip!…and handy with his lips!” My goodness, this is excellent.

Yes, there’s more….

First there was the Ghostbusters one:

And then the Forrest Gump one:

OMG that is the best thing I’ve seen in a while!!! The best was Raiders of the Lost Ark, I was actually hoping it was real! Charlton Heston would have made a good Indiana Jones.

Ghostbusters was great too but I’ve seen too many Jimmy Stewart movies to watch the Forrest Gump one, I knew where most of those clips came from so it kind of lost the magic there.

I don’t know which movies they could Premake but I’d love to see more of these.

Excellent, especially considering that the Indy movies are based on the pulpy serialized movies. Peter Lorre would have made an excellent Indy villain. Loved the Fred MacMurray part of Ghost Busters. And the Marlon Brando bit in Forrest Gump.

I particularly love Jimmy Stewart as Forrest Gump. These are wonderfully creative.

DUH! Star Wars. I would also like to see Close Encounters, Taxi Driver, The Godfather, and E.T.

These were amazing. My favorite part was Forrest and Jenny throwing rocks at her father’s old house.

I’d like to see one for Pulp Fiction or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

HA HA HA THOSE ARE AWESOME!!!

What if “Pulp Fiction” was a trashy novel from the 50s? What if “Jackie Brown” was a 70s blaxploitation film? It was kind of the point of the movie.

That said, this is very cleverly done.
