Em always looks like that. I don’t remember the last time that boy cracked a smile…you’d think millions of dollars in the bank would allow you to lighten up a smidge.

I think Eminem was playing it up for the cameras a little. He could have kept a straight face, but chose to show his scowl instead. However, I agree with the look on his face, Lady Gaga is over the top with her fashion choices and the novelty is wearing off.
Lady GaGa is a fashion nightmare. I thought nobody could top Bjork’s swan dress @ the Oscars in 2006. I was dead wrong.
Really, I thought there were better pictures with a creeped out Emimen. Though, I don’t blame him though. The whole Lady Gaga and the love for the avant garde was annoying.
When she asked him to hold her award so she could take the mask off, he was definitely scared – a screen grab of that would be priceless.

how can you not love lady gaga? she’s talented, doesn’t care what people think and is enjoying her moment in the sun. i’d take her over all the celebs whining about how rough their lives are any day.
She enjoys it because she knows shes not good enough to have her “moment in the sun” last.

I doubt she can be called a “Fashion icon”. Yes,she has her own,unique style,but I don’t think many want to copy it. Her music is just basic pop we’ve heard a million times,nobody would pay attention to her if she wore beige outfits. And Eminem: he could try wearing a smile. He was on the Tonight show this summer and he was so freakin’ serious all the time. If he was going for a “Deadpan” funny face or whatever,it didn’t work. Eminem is so uninteresting,he’s just repeating his old crap.

I don’t think she’d a fashion icon (at least not yet!) but I have to applaud her for taking risks. These days, when everything looks the same and you can’t tell one blonde starlet from another, it’s refreshing to have someone like Lady Gaga out there. IMHO she doesn’t take herself super seriously and she’s having fun with fashion. What’s wrong with that?

Love her too! I think she is fabulous at performance art. She is unqiue and different in a music world dominated by cookie cutter, follow the the staus quo sheep.
She has actual musical ability and vocal talent without a microphone that “fixes” her voice. She has her own ideas about the way she wants to present herself and has the conviction and confidence to do so. To the haters: Madonna has no true talent, just a great head for image and change. There are too
many female artists to name that are all image and no substance as well as no true originality of their own who rely on autotune and/or protune to make up for the lack of vocal talent. LOVE her flair, originality and her true daring to be different. Hope she’s around for a long time to come, can’t wait for her second album.
Originality? Sorry but Lady Gaga is walking on ground already broken by Maodnna, Bowie and Grace Jones. Everyone knows that. She may be wacky but that doesn’t mean she’s original. She is a flash in the pan and like the fashions seans of yesteryear will have it’s time to shine, but only someone like Madonna can last. In fact, I think only Madonna is gonna outlast Madonna. Lady Gaga’s career is living on borrowed time. The public is already sick of her. People didn’t get sick of Madonna until the EROTICA/SEX BOOK thing. Even then, she came back as EVITA and followed that up with RAY OF LIGHT. Lady Gaga doesn’t have Madonna’s smarts or intuition. We all thought Britney was the next Madonna, but no way no how. Lady Gaga is the new Cyndi Lauper. Critic’s darling and eccentric personality but she faded away. I’ll tell you, I think if ANYONE can last, it’s going to be Rihanna. Sad but true.

And why do people get so worked up over people not smiling? Geez. Some people just aren’t smilers.
