Incredibly disappointed. “Survivor” always showed more class than the other reality shows, but by putting Russell in Samoa this season, CBS has stooped to please the lowest common denominator. You’ve lost a loyal fan.
Enjoyed tonight’s show. Take it all with a grain of salt. Think Russell is a real snake and if the rest of his tribe don’t wake up, they get what they deserve.
Very entertaining first episode! I don’t care where the players are from or how they are recruited. It’s all about the games and Jeff and the gorgeous locations. Bring it Somoa!
I taped the show and won’t see it till tomorrow, but I saw the previews of this evil guy. That was a casting mistake. This isn’t professional wrestling. Most of us have enough assholes in our lives, I for one don’t need somebody else to hate. Yes I have to admit it can be part of the process to watch someone’s morals crumble when things get tough, but a better part is when people dig deep and find their character. If this guy stays in it too long I’m going to bail on the show, and I’m a diehard fan. I won’t watch it turned into a farce though. One of these days I’m going to try to get on the show. I wish I was on this one, I’d deal with russel pronto.

Russel is gone. I am insulted that they think we want to watch this stupid idiot torture people. And they promoted the whole show geared toward him so that proves they think we watch the show for that. What a shame. We couldn’t even watch the interesting people because he took over the whole thing. I wanted to see more about anybody but Russell. Nice to know what you think of us, Survivor. Well, I think you’re wrong.
I agree with you – Russell is the pits – why he is there is beyond me. Lies and nastiness – berating the girls that he has known for all of a few hours? I hope the “cop” woman can talk some sense into the girls and kick his conceited arse off the island. I did enjoy the first challenge – putting those “leaders” on the spot. No favorite yet.
So disappointed last night…Russell is a recruiting plant…ratings…no way…he was way over the top…we are being played…never thought I say it…I’m done with Survivor.
how is it dangerous, they have fire to boil water and most of them dont wear socks after the first week
Russell H is a dork. How could they let him get away with burning some ones socks and dumping all the water?? He is dangerous…
It’s just a show (a very entertaining show) don’t take it so serious, just enjoy and wait for the next episode.
I too was very disappointed in the first episode. How could CBS put a person like Russell on the show. Talk about discrimination. He is so demeaning to the women. If he talked that way about race he would not be tolerated. We enjoy watching survivors actually survive– not sabotage, ie pour out water and burn socks. Survivor has sunk pretty low when they chose contestants like him.
I don’t buy the whole thing.first of all, how does he empty all the water and burn smelly socks with nobody being aware of it. And if he’s such a control freak, who’s going to run his co. his employees are going to have a ball in his absents. I think this year, the show is scriped
as for the show casting characters they think are just trying to be interesting, look back to one of the first seasons, johnny fairplay is the easiest survivors people loved to hate, and he wasd more of a character then anybody
i just want to say muffin, im sorry survivor hasd been treating you like a baby but if you have been watching since season one, and you wernt under 20 whewn it started your not its demegrafic so dont cry if you dont like it watch amazing race

Wow, I am soooo mad. How the hell could you oust Ben for tripping someone? You didn’t even list tripping as something they couldn’t do. AND if you guys want everyone to play nicey, nicey, don’t have physical competitions. For Pete’s sake, Jeff. Just because you don’t like Ben, is no reason to call the challenge on him. AND in every other season, if someone has to go because of a medical problem, they were considered the (person voted off). There was NO tribal counsil, where someone was voted off. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh. Is this Survivor?
