A remake of “Logan’s Run” that actually stayed close to the book would be awesome. A little creepy, as I’m sure William Nolan intended, but awesome.
By the same token, a remake of “John Carpenter’s Vampires” (based off John Steakley’s “Vampire$”) that stayed reasonably close to the book in plot, character, and tone would also be awesome.
The remake of Star Trek was actually one that resonated well with long time fans and first timers. But some should just be left alone. Although as a kid i just adored watching Drop Dead Fred.
