I think David possibly helped Sydney escape and fake her death using a double. Maybe the reason he blacked out was Syd gave him something so he would not remember. Notice how they never showed Sydney’s face when she died? They wouldn’t bring back Syd just to kill her again. Poor Michael….he’s trying so hard to be good. I am loving Elle already! Get rid of Riley…she’s like Jane before she became nasty/awesome in Season 4 AKAK A BORE!
It was boring and the script was flat, it didn’t catch me at all.
I also thought it was a strong premiere. The actors are hot (love Michael Rady!) so as long as they come up with good trashy stories I’m down.
This is total trash…but good trash.
For the life of me, I couldn’t recognize the actor who played the guy who offered to Dr. girl money to sleep with him, just that I didn’t like him. But then I found out why I didn’t like him, he was Parker Abrams from Buffy. That guy was such a skeeze!
Sydney better still be alive! That’s why I’m back at Melrose Place. Syd rocks.
Not sure how I feel about the show yet. I’ll give it another episode or two before deciding. What I do know is that I thought Ashley Simpson was WAY out of her league on this show, surrounded by much better actors. Just my humble opinion…
Best Actress campaign? That is without a doubt the single dumbest statement ever made by anyone working for this magazine. Holy cow.
I still think it’s too soon for a remake in general…even 90210. Okay, so now they can add cell phones and texts to the plots…big deal. They just throw attractive people together and hopefully they have chemistry. I just wish the characters, again even on 90210, had some CHARACTER. Recovering alcoholic…Zzzzz. Who’s going to pay my college tuition…hello prostitution…Zzzzz. Maybe I’m just totally jaded. What I hope to see somewhere on a show geared towards young adults is maybe an overweight teen girl or young woman. How about watching her be friends or romantically involved with someone like Augie…who normally maybe wouldn’t give her the time of day since he’s into the blond models. My favorite character on BH 90210 was Andrea since she wasn’t someone you’d find on a show like that. I still wish her and Brandon got together. Melrose can still get better but maybe we’ve all just moved on.

I absolutely hated it.Nothing interesting happened.And Sydney making out with David,ugh!He is young enough to be her son for pete’s sake!And when I think it can’t get any worse,it does.They put a lesbian (bi-sexual) in there.The producers need to realize that the only people who like gay people are people who are gay themselves.It is disgusting.I hope that “The Beautiful Life:TBL” will make up for Melrose Place’s incompetence.

Wake up TAYLOR. The entire tv viewing audience is not homophobic. The reality is gay/bi people are everywrhere (at work, church, school, in your family). It is reasonable for the show to show a bi-member of the group. Live and let live.
