Yes, the tweetathon is to publicize his new book Shootin’ the Sh*t with Kevin Smith, but given how freewheeling and awesome his live Q&As are, this isn’t exactly a talking-points kinda promo event.
I’ll admit to being a total Smith devotee — I think I watched Mallrats on a continuous loop for basically all of ninth grade — but for the unconvinced among you, I say: Put on your headphones and watch this clip from An Evening with Kevin Smith where he talks about trying to write a Superman movie. [More adult language, duh.] Smith’s a staggeringly natural storyteller, and while I’m partial to the longer format, I’m predicting a thoroughly entertaining tweetathon.
I’m asking if he has plans to make another fashion comic, which is seriously my favorite Kevin Smith piece ever. Et tu, PopWatchers? What will you be tweeting?

I haven’t seen “An Evening with Kevin Smith,” but after watching that video, I think I need to now. What a great story! And thank God Superman dodged the John Peters bullet!
