I haven’t played anything that has totally blown me away this year, but this definitely comes close. If you grew up watching the 90′s Batman cartoon, you will be in heaven. Nearly every voice actor is back. I am dying inside that I am at work and not at home playing it now.
I bought the game yesterday and I agree it’s really good, but my reaction is closer to that of the EW writer. It didn’t blow me away, but it’s well worth a purchase (Canadian gamers, it’s only $38.83 at Wal-Mart, Future Shop and Best Buy until August 27!). I really enjoyed Ghostbusters too, but Batman is better. By the way, where are the sales figures on Ghostbusters? That game deserves to sell well.

I thought Ghostbusters was supposed to be a very good game? Is it good but just not selling well? B:AA looks amazing and a friend of mine who has it absolutely loves it.
Coming to PC as well, Sept.15th. Played the demo, looking forward to release.
ultimate alliance is going to blow this game out of the water. arkham assylum doesnt have multiplayer and not mush add on content which UA is bound to have. also you get to choose from a wide selection of heroes istead of just one. multiplayer is where the future of gaming is at.
One of the best games I’ve played. Got get this now! Now, Dammit!
