Korto was robbed! What the #%*& were the judges smoking on last night's 'Project Runway: All Star Challenge'?

yup completely agree. I’ve been following fashion for 30 years, I love all kinds of challenging, “weird” stuff that no one else gets, etc – but that “collection” of daniels was very callow and could only possibly appeal to a very narrow market. The restaurant dress was a lazy joke. But Korto’s collection – realized, layered, beautiful – and her restaurant dress: a show stopper. The look of the episode. She totally deserved the win. What is UP with the judges?
Agree with you all – Korto’s here and in her season were fantastic – Daniel wins because the judges “like” him? Whaaaa?
I totally disagree about Korto.Her outfits may have been nice, but she has an ugly ugly attitude.She had it the season she was on and we were glad she lost both times.I wouldn’t buy anything from her line because of it. Nasty woman. Yay Daniel.The judges gave it to him because he is talented and they knew they blew it the first time. I love the show and we are glad it is back.

Uli had the best collection and
should have won but I love Daniel.

Yeah. This show was ridiculous….I believe Uli should have won without a doubt in my mind. How she was in the bottom four, I will never know. Perhaps it was because the judges hadn’t seen her in 4 years and since she didn’t have a print she had ‘lost herself’ as did other designers. Daniel winning is almost a bigger fashion faux pas then teh resturant challenge. On the poll mentioned in the article above, Chris March is even beating him in the standings of who should have one. Lame.
I loved Daniel’s black dress more than I love anything in Korto’s collection. And her attitude reminded me yet again why I never really liked her in the first place. She did make some nice things that I would wear, but Daniel made things that I wish I could wear.

Truth be told Uli should hav won – her designs were gorgeous and she was being punished for not being exactly like she was the first time she was on the show. Korto should have placed second to Uli, but standing up there next to Daniel Korto not only should have won, but there was just no comparison. Sorry – this is my biggest issue with Project Runway – I don’t think that Michael Kors and Nina Garcia have good taste when it comes to this show.
was it me or did jeffrey sebalia have some really bad plastic surgery? at least an eye-job, but his whole upper face seemed strangely frozen. his forehead still moved so the issue wasn’t all botox. i dunno, i kept slow-mo-ing to look at him when he was on to figure it out but still can’t.
Korto was robbed. Bottom line. I’m sorry for her disappointment and that she showed it for all the world to see but it’s a competition and subjective and it would have been nice if she could have been gracious about it – EVEN IF SHE WAS ROBBED!
I never, ever need to have eitehr Satino or Jeffrey grace my TV screen again. I agree with the other reader who said it was good to see Jeffrey get his comeuppance.
I’ve learned not to get too attached to Project Runway judging and just watch to see the pretty clothes (and the hot messes) every week.
pure bs. heidi and team already decided to give him the win, probably before the show started. and Sweet Pea OVER Uli??? really? that was only for pure entertainment reasons….notice how much the editing focused on their own competition. obviously we dont know what happens behind closed doors…maybe there is a deal with daniel’s line? so it benefits the show to have him as the winner? maybe heidi has a stronger relationship with him than she does w. korto? something is off about that win and they should be embarassed.
I didn’t see the all-star challenge when it came out. I mean, Von Furstenberg actually LAUGHED at Vosovic’s crap, I mean, collection. Korto or the costume designer were so much better (both wearable and elegant).
I suppose Vosovic gives, I mean, has a fantastic head, something that could not really be shown on TV.
This is exactly why I’ve abandoned Runway after the Gretchen/Mondo/Judges Clearly Smoking Crack debacle.
