I’m just gonna put this out there: I enjoyed the movie White Chicks. In fairness, I have only seen perhaps three-quarters of the 2004 film while channel surfing. Yet the parts that I’ve caught made me laugh, repeatedly. I know not all critics agree with me. But let’s review White Chicks‘ merits for a moment. The Wayans brothers? Funny. Outlandish disguises? Funny. Stereotypical Valley girls who are actually undercover FBI agents? Like, so funny!
Which is why I was pleasantly surprised today to read that Shawn, Marlon, and Keenen Ivory Wayans are planning a sequel to White Chicks. Details are scarce at the moment, but I think we can all imagine pretty much how this movie is going to go. Another crime of some sort, another opportunity for those luckless FBI guys to prove themselves by going under deep cover — this script is going to write itself. And as soon as Marlon and Shawn put on that make-up, you’re pretty much guaranteed an hour and a half of LOLs.
Would I pay money to see the next chapter in the White Chicks saga in theaters? Well…maybe not. But I would so watch the majority of this sequel when I’m bored and it makes its way to basic cable. Anyone else with me on this? And: If this is happening, can Little Man 2 be far behind?

Stupid funny but still Funny! Im looking forward to seeing the sequal.
I refused to watch this movie for the longest time based off reviews and trailers. But once I saw it I laughed, a lot. Doesn’t matter how bad a movie is I still enjoy it if it can make me laugh.

as long as they have that guy from the first movie sing along to that vanessa carlton song again! that was my favorite part:)

White Chicks is amazing. Anything with Marlon and Shawn is hysterical.
I saw this on HBO once and enjoyed it. It wasn’t the funniest movie, but it had enough chuckles to make it worth my time. Ironically, I feel the Wayans brothers make for more convincing blondes than Jessica Alba did in the Fantastic Four movies.
That said, the original was a response to the immense popularity of heiresses a few years ago, Paris Hilton in particular. Now that rich blonde hotties aren’t en vogue will this movie find an audience? IMHO, the Wayans would be a bit more relevant if they did a Kardashians or “Real Housewives” parody.
You are absolutely not the only person who will see this movie. I’ve watched ‘White Chicks’ over and over, again. I make my husband tune into the best parts.
Such a classic movie in my life. I’m so happy to hear that a sequel is under works. Can’t wait for it! And I agree with jmmj– bring back Terry Crews!

Loved this movie. I have seen it probably 20 times. I don’t ever go by what the critics say. They are usually old white guys with no sense of humor. Will totally see the sequel!

Yes, I would also like to cast my vote in the “Bring Back Terry Crews” campaign. He was the whole movie, imo.
