I fell in love in the first episode he appeared in. I was never into bill. I have a thing for tall, blond good looking vampires. Alexander is the main reason i watch. I mean I love the show but I would die without Eric
It was Season 1 Episode 4, the minute he is introduced with his little smirk and those smoldering eyes–that’s it I was a goner. They couldn’t have picked a better actor to play him either!

I’ve allways loved alexanders acting sence he played the swedish character ‘Nisse’, hahaha! (I sencearly susspects he was retarded in that movie and sense I coulden stop smiling cause it’s so funny seeing a huge-as-hell man behaving like a baby) But I was like exttreamly young then and dident see sexyness
Then, right when he started showing a bit more in the show, it hitted me like a slap in the face; *smack* ”He’s so fine!”
Oh, haah I just saw how many things I’d spelled wrong there, but I was wrighting very fast..
Season 1 I was all about Bill. Then Season 2 rolled around and Eric had to cut his hair and all of the sudden I realized how amazing he was! That and his character started getting more action and showing more of his personality in Season 2. I’m now 100% for Eric!
1st episode 2nd season when he has the hairfoils and flipflops and tears that a**hole aids sandwich guy to smithereens in front of Lafayette! That’s when I switched sides! Team Eric all the way now!
For me it was a bit later.

bla bla bla..true blood this, true blood that.nobody cares!!get real people TWILIGHT is the real reason why vampires are the new thing now. im not saying that (yuck) true blood is bad. but how can you compare real strong love to sex that suki or however you spell her name, is having with everybody. the love is where its at with twilight. true blood is just for the sexual thrill.

Twilight chick, you realize you answered to something posted a year ago right. I was looking for a recent EW article on TB and got this instead and just happened to read the comments, didn’t expect someone to answer recently.
Maybe because that is all there is to twilight and as adults we want more. Yeah first love and true love is cute and all, but not everyone is into those type of romance stories. This show has a lot more depth to it and goes beyond HS love. It talks about social issues such as homosexuality, racism, politics, religion and gets deeper and more drama. You deal with people who have real problems not dealing with HS as a problem. Growing up with an alcoholic parent, getting over the loss of a loved one, drugs and etc. It’s not one dimensional. You have love, sex, its funny, intelligent, deep, and everything life is about.
It’s a show not a movie, so dealing 2 hours with love is ok but if you had to watch just a love story for years, it’d be damn boring and as adults we need more. I found love and think all the harlequin romance stories are not that great and past that stage. I need more than boy meets girl, they fall in love, break up, get back get married and live happily ever after. Yeah not much else to the story, nothing deep going on there.
I’m way late on this but I just found this article and have to add my favorite Eric moment. I knew I was in love with him Season 1 at Fangtasia. A tourist comes in and asks if she can take his pix (cuz he’s a vampire and DUH He’s hot). Eric says yes. She does, and one of his minions then smashes her camera to pieces. Eric’s response. I said you could take a picture. I never said you could keep it. Cracked me up and I was in love. <3 Eric for the win! Oh I just read all the books and he's way better in the books. So excited for season 4 next year!
