Ewan McGregor, the Friendly 'Ghost'

Remember yesterday, when we posted Legion trailer that was more than five minutes long? This thing is the opposite of that thing: A 15-second tease of Roman Polanski’s upcoming The Ghost, starring Ewan McGregor, Kim Cattrall, Olivia Williams, Jim Belushi, Robert Pugh, Tom Wilkinson, and Pierce Brosnan. McGregor plays Brosnan’s ghost-writer in the adaptation of Robert Harris’ novel, but anyone can appreciate the somewhat chilling effect of Ewan McGregor’s friendly intro, “I’m your ghost!” on a blistering summer Friday. Its more than a little sad that so many actors still work with a man who drugged and slept with a young teenage girl and was never put in prison for it. Despite the horror’s in his life (charles manson’s family) it is still inexcusable that he can continue to work with higher end talent so willing to look past this glaring indescretion.

Innocent until proven guilty, even if in exile.

sad, you should watch the doc WANTED AND DESIRED. Polanski did go to jail, did plead guilty (i believe for a misdeamenor) but a fame hungry judge (now dead) turned it into a circus. It’s very revealing doc

uh i dont know what to make of a 15 second barely-teasing teaser… but Jim Belushi in a Roman Polanski film??? did i read that right???

I’m with Paige. Was Belushi a typo?
