I wish I would have never watched that viral video of Susan Boyle. That’s what got me started on AGT. I saw the Susan video, followed the Britain’s Got Talent program to its conclusion and started watching America’s Got Talent. Damn you, Susan, damn you. I digree, though.
I’m an animal lover. But for the love of God, I cannot figure out how the dog act was more talented over Charles DeWayne.
I’ll consider this show “rigged” if Voices of Glory makes it to the finals. They are just ordinary church singers. Churches are chock full of talented singers. I’m sick and tired of America’s Got Talent constant harping on the Voices of Glory “poor, poor, poor, me and my tragic family, angle. I hope whatever act wins, wins on the basis of pure talent and not on the sympathy vote. I want to feel good with my vote and Voices of Glory just makes me feel bad.
That being said, the Fab Five or Acrodunk are going to walk away with the big prize. Those two acts can easily deliver 90 minutes of varied and exciting entertainment in Las Vegas. Any other act, especially the musical acts, are just a rehash of stuff other entertainers have already made mainstream.
I am so irritated with this show. So many talentless and/or ridiculous acts got put through this season. (A dominatrix into the quarterfinals? Are you kidding? A dog-frisbee act that has no chance of sustaining a show in Vegas into the SEMI-finals? Come on, Sharon… really? It was so spiteful to go against Piers like she did.)
In the past, I thought Sharon and Piers have given appropriate feedback, but Sharon has lost it when it comes to being an objective judge. (The Hoff doesn’t even deserve a comment since he only repeats or rephrases the other judges’ comments.)
After tonight’s show, I will not be tuning in again. They couldn’t even recognize a technical error in a piano performance. I mean, come on. Jeffrey probably didn’t miss a note. AGT Judge’s are dumb and don’t know how to give credit where credit is due.
AGT is a train-wreck that I refuse to continue watching.
I think the judges are hiypcrites, they tell one contestant they need to have a 90 minute act but then look at what they ok’d at the auditions. what a joke.
After her choice of a flawed routine over a perfect routine, I refuse to watch AGT again.
They’re banking on surprise. That’s what gets people tuned in.
Sharon is not a good judge! I am very very disappointed.
