I would rather have Spielberg as the master chief is one of the main characters in his
and it develops more of the halo universe with Spielbergs script set in ‘the fall of reach’
where as Blomkamps script is just an alternative view point from halo CE. I am not saying Blomkamps would be bad, i would still love it, but i want to see the halo universe expand.
That is just my understanding of the scripts.

I’ve read the book that the movie were supposed to be made of. (Halo the flood by William C. Deitz) It is the worst book in the series. For the rest I would prefer Spielberg. And the short movie from Blomkamp really don’t do it for me. But I must admit if they can manage to turn Halo into a movie franchise I will really enjoy it. It does not matter who does it as long as they do it well.
Steilburg would make it too light. It should be instense and gory, edgy. They should just call Jackson, say “Green light” and see what happens.
