As I was scrolling down to read the comments, I came across this advertisement “I Cut down on POUNDS of Stomach Fat In a Month By Obeying this 1 Old Rule”.
So there u go, thats what she needs to do before thinking of getting into action movies.
She’d be great in an action movie like the one Liam Niessen (sp.) did about the middle-aged spy raising hell to save his daughter. For a “serious” actress, it would be a “reach” tantamount to an action hero doing Hamlet. I’d actually pay to see such a movie in first run.
Meryl needs to anything and everything. Is it possible to have her be in every single movie, I would like that very much. She makes everything better, like chocolate.
Meryl can play anything? If she can play an action (sh)ero, I’ll believe it.
Helen Mirren would be an awesome villain in a Bond film. But Meryl Streep would be better suited for an original action film and not a franchise entry.
You just made my dream come true with this poll. I hadn’t thought of it, but I love ‘Charlie’s Angels’ and if Meryl were in it, it would be the cherry on top.
Is there a role she CAN’T play? Even Star Jones Reynolds said she would want Meryl to play HER–and she’s a big ole black woman.
Meryl is just delightful…everything that she does is amazing. So. I don’t care if is an action, love or food movie, I’ll pay for it:-)
Meryl can do anything. I hope she does an action movie!
Give her an action-movie role, but doing something original, no franchise! And it’s too easy for her to be the controlling power behind some superteam, or a simplified villain (see how she was too on-the-nose in DOUBT?). Meryl has great powers, but let her serve something new.
I would love to see Meryl Streep in the new Pirates movie, if they actually decide to make it! She and Johnny Depp would make movies out of pure gold
