Consider it lingering revenge for Andrew Lloyd Weber continuing to destroy the American art form of musical theatre.
I enjoyed the book imensly as a child, so I wont be seening this americain rubbish, as it would taint it forever. Like what the did to the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
The screenplay to which Douglas Adams wrote. Which differed from the novel. Which differed from the radio dramas. He changed it for every medium himself.
Whats with all this Americanization of an English book crybaby talk? I’m Canadian and I also loved the book as a kid and no offense to the Brits out there but I didn’t read it with English accents in my head… relax and enjoy the fact that someone so unique and talented like Wes Anderson got his hands on the project and cast such amazing actors. At least its not the Michael Bay FMF.

I do not foresee children flocking to theaters to witness a movie because of its beauty. Are you saying this movie lacks beauty? I showed my kids the trailer and they were excited. The young fox voiced by Schwartzman was hilarious. Wes Anderson appears to have done an amazing job at creating a kid-friendly movie while still maintaining his own unique traits.
