Is cancer funny? Generally speaking, the answer is an unequivocal “no.” CollegeHumor.com however, decided to go there, with a new fake ad spoofing the extreme anti-smoking commercials designed to scare people straight with graphic visions of what can happen to their bodies if they continue to light up. Does it cross a line? I guess it depends on how you feel about those gnarly anti-smoking ads in the first place. I feel like once College Humor’s spot quickly pushes past throat cancer into the realm of Terminator-style killer androids (I can’t explain; you’ll have to watch) it dodges any true controversy. But watch it and tell us what you think. And make sure you stick around for the final tag line.

Cancer isn’t funny but this commercial is.
It’s just funny. And if humor doesn’t bush buttons, then it wouldn’t be very funny.
