Ooh, a Dancing With the Stars dig. Hit her where it hurts! It's almost like Letterman thinks it's his last chance to make fun of Sarah Palin. Which is ridiculous.

I get it Annie Barrett, and probably 99% percent of EW Staff, you don’t like the woman. I’m a huge EW fan and subscriber (heck I was even a call-in guest on Idolatry). But every time you guys make political commentary even referring to entertainment outlets such as Letterman, I cringe. As a Republican and a woman, it’s disheartening to see the blatant bias you have against her and conservative beliefs and ideals. Conservatives aren’t all homophobic, abortion-bombing extremists, we’re regular people who see our views getting belittled and mocked everyday. Please be more aware before you alienate a whole demographic of subscribers such as myself.

Liberals aren’t alone in their Palin hatred. Surely there must be smart Republican women who educate themselves about the issues who can represent us.

Enough with the self-righteousness. Liberals see their views mocked and belittled every day as well (Palin being a repeat offender). No body likes someone who constantly plays the innocent victim when they are not(Which is why Palin finds herself in hot water a lot). This isn’t really even THAT offensive. EW is pop a culture magazine. Like it or not, politics are a large part of American pop culture. EW would not be a relevant pop culture publication if it ignored politics completely. I understand you don’t agree with the views expressed, but you either need to take the bad with the good and turn a blind eye to it or stop reading/subscribing (much like I do with Fair and Balanced Fox News).

I love it when conservatives cry foul when their proverbeal noses get bloodied in fights they start. Letterman mocks everyone. Palin tried to turn it into a thing, then steped down weeks later (if I was an Alasken and had voted for her I’d be P.O’d) so of course this opens up for more mockery.
