As the first 30-some seconds pedantically inform us, this movie takes place in Antarctica. CGI! Explosions!
Beckinsale plays a U.S. Marshal who must solve the shocking mystery of the continent's first murder. But let's all be honest and say that the most important/only lingering element of that trailer is that Antarctica is not so cold and desolate that Kate Beckinsale cannot enjoy a nice hot shower. Collective sigh of relief, P-Dubs?

It looks interesting. Has anyone ever read Ice Station by Matthew Reilly? The movie looks like it’s moving in that direction except it could never be as good as the book.
