Food Network: What do you want to ask your favorite culinary personalities?

Filed under: Food and Drink, Television and tagged: ,

Food-network-chefs_l The Food Network's Next Food Network Star is down to three finalists. Fox's Hell's Kitchen just roared back. And Bravo's Top Chef is set to return Aug. 27. Plus, there's all that other foodie programming on Food Network, Fine Living, The Travel Channel, and so on and so forth. It's everywhere! It's eating us alive! (Sorry, I couldn't resist being so lame.)

So with that in mind, I've got a question for you PopWatchers: What burning questions do you have for TV's food personalities? What have you always wondered about Alton Brown or Rachael Ray or Sandra Lee? Maybe, what's the biggest dive Guy has ever been to? What are the secrets to looking good while making meatballs from Giada? What's the richest thing Paula Deen had ever made? Is the Barefoot Contessa ever really barefoot? Or: Padma, where'd you get the idea you can act?!?

You know, that kind of thing. We here at EW can't promise that we'll get everything answered — but we're gonna try. So we wanna know what you wanna know. You know? Leave your questions — with specifically which food TV personality they should be directed toward — in the comments below. We're looking for a bounty of queries! Please!

@ BC: Harry’s Farmer’s Market is a great place. It’s now owned by Whole Foods. But I don’t remember seeing the butchers/fishmonger’s there.

Ina-Can I come for the weekend and have brunch, a dinner party of the beach and a cocktail party in your backyard?

Giada – why so many teeth and low cut shirts? I guess that’s all marketing

  • 227

So many questions! I know Giada gets asked this a lot but how does she maintain that figure? Bobby too?
And to Ariel: yes, Giada shows cleavage but she just wears the most flattering necklines for a busty gal. A t-shirt cut would not be flattering and a turtleneck would get too warm.

Love all the the Food Network Stars. Why isn’t there a show for vegans or at least vegetarians?

For any of the hosts: do you ever cook/eat convenience food, like cake mix from a box, or frozen chicken nuggets or prepackaged flavored noodles/rice. You can’t possible cook from scratch every meal. Any guilty pleasures?

The men from Food Network should be considered eye candy too. Mario Batalli – Grrroowwwwl!!!! “What a man, what a man, what a man”

Is Rachel Ray related to Martha Ray, or the Joker?

  • susan

Bobby Flay: You seem like a great sport and admirer of other cooks and chefs in addition to being competitive. What are you thinking when you lose a Throwdown or an Iron Chef challenge? Was one loss ever really disappointing to you? What was one of your favorite victories and why?

  • Raj

Why is there no one cooking India regional dishes – this would be good for the vegetarians and vegans. Women need to not show so much skin, it should be about food only
