In Sunday night's Entourage, Turtle and Drama engaged in a yawn-inducing "Why is HE with HER?" debate that referenced the central romance in 2007's Knocked Up. Specifically, it was the same exact debate brought up by Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl's characters in that movie. Was Turtle's new girlfriend Meadow Soprano so much hotter than him that the couple's Cute/"Funny":Hot/"Blah" ratio would implode on itself, causing…I don't know, something explosive? (I wish.) I couldn't stomach the conversation because I'm not on board with the "couples need to be equally attractive" rule itself. WHO CARES? Sleep with the person you like and stop being so insecure!
Rogen himself caught wind of this nonsense and took it a bit more personally. "Doug Ellin is a moron from all I can understand, so it makes sense he doesn’t like me," he told the L.A. Times. "Mark Wahlberg calledus misogynistic in an interview, so I think they kind of started that….It’s on. Luckily, I never have and never plan on watching Entourage."
Which reminds me: I'm one of the only people I know still watching Entourage, mostly because it happens to be a series on which I'm not at least a few episodes (or seasons) behind. When those shows pop up, apparently I cling on for dear life. But after Sunday's episode, which totally underutilized guest starts Jami Gertz and Autumn Reeser (whose "moment of interest" constituted Gary Cole leering at her legs, and not even from a good angle) (now who's misogynistic? how you doin'), I might have to just let go for good. What about you?

I never got into this series because of its utter lack of interesting female characters. Woman in the series (excpet for that one) are just objects. Am I supposed to think that’s how LA is, or how Hollywood is? Whatever, I guess that’s also why I don’t live there.
I prefer CHUCK over ENTOURAGE.
This show is imploding faster than Vinnie Chase bags random chicks. Plus, the new girl Eric is banging instead of Sloane (FKA Triss from Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist) is so thin she’s really difficult to look at. Seriously, someone buy that girl a sandwich.

I’ve just discovered Entourage. I hope this isn’t then end! I liked last night’s show and I thought the whole “would you bang Seth Rogan” thing was fine because, frankly, he was 30 pounds overweight and a mess in Knocked Up–it’s a worthy, age-old question whether personality wins over looks.
I used to really enjoy entourage, now I’m just wondering what the point is. At first, the show was about Vinnie being new on the scene and his buddies leeching off his money. And that was entertaining. Now, it is dragging on and on and on. There really isn’t a plot or direction to the show anymore.
Thanks for reminding me of where I know that girl, btw. And she is freakishly thin/gaunt/ghostly. Just based on that one episode I assume that she’s going to turn out to be a huge stalker that E can’t shake for most of the season. I mean–already her behavior is way out there.
Started watching the DVDs a couple of months ago – burned through a season in about a day or two. Figure they’ll give it one last season, but still, I’ve been amazed how little the show has “traveled” in five seasons. Minimal character growth, minimal plots. The best part of the show has been the cameos and pseudo-cameos and characters based on well-know people.
You people are complete morons! Highest rated and most nominated show on HBO losers!

I still watch it. Its not as funny as before but it should pick up. Gary Cole agent will be taking a nose dive and bringing down Ari. Plus the stalker chick looks like a interesting roadblock.
sorry EW. I know you guys are now run by metrosexual vampires, but some people still enjoy Entourage. So yeah go ahead and let go for good and continue to sweat the crap outta Vampires and shows with vampires and movies about vampires and whatever. you guys are soooooo hip
I watch it out of habit. Won’t shed a tear when it’s gone, which by all rights should be after this season. I really enjoyed the show at first as a nice palate cleanser after the heaviness of Six Feet Under on Sunday nights. But it’s all been done, the ideas and characters are exhausted, and it’s really time to close up shop.
I still watch and LOVE it! Don’t try to knock it! I imagine a lot of people get the DVDs and watch it on-demand too! I missed the whole last season then watched on-demand over two days. It’s GREAT!
How hypocritical of Seth Rogen. First of all, I’ve had the same “Seth Rogen” rant with my friends lol. And how many shots has Rogen dished out in his movies. I’ve lost count.
The “joke” wasn’t even offensive, and his panties get in a bunch.
Hypocritical, and overreaction.
