It’s a choice between The Incredibles, Children of Men and Million Dollar Baby. In fact, I put them in that order.
1. The Incredibles
2. Children of Men
3. Million Dollar Baby
Oh, and I forgot to say!
The Incredibles: every single moment is the greatest. One of my friends’ favorite moment is when Mr. Incredible sets down the tree, and the police officers say, “You’ve done it again, Mr. Incredible” “Yeah, you’re the best.”
Children of Men – another friggin’ movie where every moment is amazing I was particularly awed (and still am) with the long sequence in the scene where Julianne Moore dies.
Million Dollar Baby – Clint kisses Hilary Swank on the forehead…
I would have to choose V for Vendetta–a movie about fear and the use of fear as a weapon. There are no real good guys in the movie. Instead of guys in white hats and black hats, everyone wears gray–and the protagonist is a terrorist. It’s the perfect film for our age of uncertainty. “We have met the enemy and he is us.”
dogma or the dark knight
Here are some films that have to be included in any discussion:
Brokeback Mountain
Children of Men
Donnie Darko

LOTR without question.. in 20 years from now people will be watching these marathons every time they’re on tv.. they are like the original star wars. sure the dark knight was good.. but it was slightly overrated and will be more forgotten about in years to come. runner up – stardust i also loved.. and will be similar to the princess bride in years to come. honorable mention – no country for old men.
Lives of Others,Downfall,Gladiator,Earth,Fire and Water(triology),Master and Commander,City of God,Castaway,Cinderella Man and the Kite Runner. There Will Be Blood is not a very good film,it is bleak ,self-conscious and never actually gels.Over-rated.
