Ugh, why are some trailers genetically engineered to make me love them? Behold the trailer for An Education, which looks pretty cute:
Let's see, a charming dork girl, British accents, a handsome stranger who whisks our brunet heroine away from a life of bookish desperation, 1960s fashion, a screenplay by Nick Hornby… Yep, that's just about everything I could want, all jammed into one trailer.
Is An Education hitting your pleasure receptors, too, PopWatchers? I mean, it looks so adorable, right?

Carey Mulligan: Has a stellar TV guest star ever driven you to IMDb or Netflix?

Must. See. This. Now.
You had me at ‘Nick Hornby’. Everything else is just really excellent icing.
They couldn’t have come up with a better title?
Yawn…
I’m intrigued!
And is it just me, or does the young star resemble Katie Holmes?
The pretty young thing was also the star of the “Blink” episode of Dr. Who, and I’ve been wondering if she’d get a good movie showcase.
Loved her in Pride and Prejudice, she looks like she’ll do great in this! It does look adorable… and a lovely cast.
What a cast! Unfortunately, this small film will come nowhere near my area, so I have to wait for the DVD…
I’m definitely intrigued! Count me in.
That cast? And Nick Hornby? Definitely yes.
I’d love to see it but it will likely not play here .So I’ll likely catch it on DVD. “The Brother’s Bloom” and ” Moon” are good examples of small films haven’t played my area .
I have to see this – when is it coming out???
It’s wonderful. I saw it at Sundance, Carey Mulligan is lovely and I think this will be her break-out.
Yeah, give me Peter Sarsgaard and Nick Hornby and I’m sold! Plus, isn’t that Kitty from “Pride & Prejudice”?! IT IS!!!!
It’s wonderful. I saw it at Sundance, Carey Mulligan is lovely and I think this will be her break out role.
