JAKE JAKE JAKE
If he’s the new Bachelor, I’m signing up.
NOT Jake, he’s so darn annoying – and of the F3 would be great choice – they seem like they’re fantastic guys
Wow! I don’t think I realized how many losers they had on this show until the tell-all. The only ones worth anything were Jake and Michael. It’s pretty bad when the guys are upset with Jake for not coming down to “their level”. Give me a break. It’s like saying, stop being such a great guy so we don’t have to step it up. All of the guys obsessed with the boozing and “man-code” are clearly not ready for any kind of commitment. I sure hope Reid comes back and gets Jillian. I loved him. If she doesn’t pick him, then I say Reid for the next bachelor and if she does (hooray!) and Jake should definately be the next bachelor! It would be great to see such a gentlemen for once. Oh, and Dave…I wouldn’t wish him on my worst enemy!
Chris,
I just wanted to say that I think you did a great job in keeping things from getting out of hand. Dave is clueless and that’s kind of sad. Frankly, he can take his so-called mancode and put it where the sun doesn’t shine! I don’t think Juan deserved the pounding you said he got from the guys. I think some of them just can’t handle someone who is different. Too bad for them. Please do NOT make Jake the next bachelor!! This guy is NOT perfect! He is as phony as a three dollar bill. I could not stand listening to his phony comments. I also don’t think it was his business to warn Jillian about Wes. It’s her life and she is smart enough to figure things our for herself. Which is just what she did. I really like the way Jillian has handled herself. She seems like a great girl, lots of fun, good-hearted, sweet, down-to-earth. She genuinely seemed glad to see most of the guys. She was sweet to acknowledge what Juan went through and also Michael. Lovely to see.
Chris, I’ve always enjoyed the Bachelor and Bachelorette shows, but this year reading your blogs and seeing you get real with these guys, and allowing us to see that you get pissed off once in a while, has boosted my level of enjoyment at least 100%. You were completely right about Wes. He is a no-talent, sloppy, self-absorbed, egomaniac who had to pull a stunt to get any kind of attention. Certainly his limited talent wasn’t going to get him there. Thanks for your candid observations, and for letting us get a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes.
hi chris! just wanted to say i have been following your blog and your “tweets” and you crack me up! i love hearing your perspective. andd just have to throw in a TEAM REID!!! because i literally screamed out loud when i saw him at the end of the preview tonight. cant wait to watch!!
Oh, Chris, we know Reid didnt come back cuz of the final show. Yes He WILL be back on ATFR cuz he’s the one who end up with Jillian. We know he wouldnt be able to fake it up there. Come on!
Best part of the show: The Clip where Jillian pulled your finger. I replayed it at least twice. I’m tempted to twitter this to you but I don’t like tweeting.
I’d love to see Jake as the next Bachelor. He seems truly determined to find love.
Honestly, I was uncomfortable watching tonight’s ‘Tell All’ because so many of the men behaved childishly and tossed out opinions that I can only imagine were based on ‘cave!logic’.
Hey Chris,
Your wrap up is great and very nice work done on the show tonight as well. You were masterful at balancing being instructive and without a hint of condescension in your admonishments with most of these guys (e.g. David and his lynch mob buddies).
I really did feel bad for both Jake and Juan who were both perfect gentlemen. Whoever these men end up marrying, the women will be very lucky indeed.
In regards to the next Bachelor; at first blush my choice would be Jake, he’s a great man with wonderful qualities.
But on reflection, I think Michael, the break dance instructor, would be a more interesting candidate. I was really surprised and impressed by him tonight. I liked his whole vibe and everything he said about Jillian and the show. There was a maturity about him and how the show affected him, it was very attractive. In fact, outside of Jake and Juan, he came across as the most masculine and self assured guy on that stage tonight.
Michael gets my vote!
Aww Chris, you were so protective of Jillian tonight. I liked the way you kept the meatheads in line. (Not that Jillian really needs protection; she’s a feisty one.) I like your taste in men, too. Reid is a wonderful person. I hope he shows up at the ATRC as Jillian’s fiancee. Theirs has been the true love story on the show.
What I think everyone enjoyed was the out takes of the season. I think you should do more of that instead of listening to the guys tear each other apart. I loved the “drunken Ed” scene. It make these people real.
The Stagliano twins should definitely be the next bachelors! I think it would be a really fun and exciting new twist to the show. If not both of them, then at least Michael.
I love reading your blogs! They are hilarious!
I would also like to say that although I like Ed a lot, those green short-shorts have got to be a violation of Man-Code.
WES FOR THE NEXT BACHELOR = entertainment! = ++ ratings = less legal fees + its only fair
