Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and Leona Lewis are all wonderful choices…they all sound GREAT live. But Miley Cyrus???? WTF!!!! She doesn’t even SING live. And when she does she sounds horrible. If I were her I wouldn’t take this gig…no matter how much she thinks of herself and no matter how many time 6-13 year olds say she’s “the best singer in the world” she must know that vocally she is in nowhere NEAR the level these three other girls are at. I feel bad for her…she will struggle.
Miley diffinitely shouldn’t be on that list. Leona,and Kelly for sure. Adele has a great voice but she’s still too new. Mariah has been sounding like crap lately so not her. Yes to Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler, Cher, Stevie Nicks. Whoever suggested Britney except she’s on tour, I hope you were joking. Miley would be better then that.5

Miley Cyrus??? WTF???? She’s no diva. What person that watches Divas Live wants to see a Disney Channel star perform on the show. Do 10-year-olds watch this show? Plus, Miley’s voice isn’t even that great. How bout some slightly more grown-up acts? Adele, Kelly, and Leona are all fine with me I guess, but they still need one or two stars with true Diva status. Whitney has a new album coming, and so does Mariah. Even though they’ve both been on it before, it’s always nice to mix up the classic divas with some new, younger stars, like Adele, Leona, and Kelly.
I would love to see Amy Winehouse on this show, but she probably would be unable due to her issues.
Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera would be good too.
Shouldn’t these be women who can REALLY sing, not just produce remixed/ engineered music for mass appeal? My preferences would include Whitney Houston (if she’s still got the voice), Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis & Christina Aguilera. As much as I like her, Britney doesn’t have a VOICE, and CERTAINLY NOT Miley Cyrus!

quit pandering get the real true soul and talent of diva quality, namely bette gladys aretha mariah gloria chere dolly reba chaka jennifer h, cece w., just cause they are shoved down your throat doesnt mean theyr’e talented its talent survival and soul. beef it up or i’m not watching some things are worth waiting for!!

This year’s divas show is going to suck…I felt like this year should have been a much deserved tribute to Tina! Since they’ve giving one to Diana and Aretha. Tina opened the doors for most, if not all the people in this bad line-up.
Miley is a true diva superstar, not like some of those hags from yesteryear. If you don’t think Miley should be included, then you must have had your head up your anus for the past couple of years cuz she’s the hottest female entertainer on this planet.
This year is going to suck! I thought it might be a great year to do a tribute to Tina Turner seeing as how she is the queen of rock.
Miley is going to rock the House!!!
If any aspect of the show is decided by audience voting, Miley is going to have a HUGE! advantage. Also, I can tell she’s been taking voice lessons or coaching because her Hannah Montana Season 3 CD shows a significant voice range improvement.
When Lawrence Olivier first started acting, the press were brutal to him about his acting; but, when he died he was lauded by some as America’s finest actor. Miley is smart and a workaholic. She is already starting as a good actress and I know she will become great.
Here’s the obligatory, because it’s true,…Miley Rocks!!!
P.S. Enjoy her 2 current top 10 CD’s (she may be doing one more for her upcoming tour?), her million ticket tour (75 cents per person will go to cancer treatment and research), her three movies currently in development (one filming now), her hit telivision show Hannah Montana, and this VH1 Divas show(if true, I haven’t confirmed this yet.)
