2009 Emmy Nominations: Which is your favorite, and why?

I've had 48 hours to recover from the pain of the Umpteenth Annual Emmy Nomination Snubs — no room at the table for Lost's Elizabeth Read the full post.

worst noms: Sheen and alicia silverstone definitely. Best: Tina, Vanessa Williams and Alec or Steve Carell. Don’t like many shows raved over in comments – i.e. BBT or Mad Men.

justin timberlake & jim parsons. just seeing those two names made me so incredibly happy :)

tracy morgan without a doubt. who else can say: “oh i’m just practicing sitting” or walk around dressed as a white woman with a claw for a hand and make you totally belive thats how this character really is? well…i guess thats how tracy morgan really is. hmmm either way glad he’s getting recognized. OH! Kenneth too!

Although I do love Vanessa L. Williams being nominated, it’s the nomination for How I Met Your Mother that had me jumping in my chair !
Also, Neil Patrick Harris combining his host duties with being nominated should be “Awesome”, and even more so if he wins !

Definitely Elizabeth Moss in Mad Men. And kudos to Family Guy!

    No John Noble ???? :(

Christine Baranski for Guest Actress in a Comedy! Her turn as Leonard’s mother was hysterically funny, and her chemistry with Sheldon was weird and warped in the best way possible.

Giggled in glee when Lost got the nod for Best Drama. Two years in a row!
Also giggled in glee when Flight of the Conchords was nominated and Jermaine. Poor Brit (Lol. I know it’s Bret but I love calling him Brit).
NPH FTW but more FTW is HIMYM in Best Comedy.
But my favorite has to be Legend of the Seeker’s one nomination. Never expected that show to be honored and I’m glad to see my guilty pleasure in the running.

Jack Macbrayer for 30 rock. Do i need to say more?

The nomination for “Motherlover”. A great followup in “D*** in A Box” and maybe even better. It says something if you can get Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson to be in your digital video. It is still funny three months later-that says something for the viral video age that we live in.

I am so happy for the Flight of the Conchords love (for best comedy and for Jermaine Clement). The most hilariously offbeat and awkward show finally got recognized! So much better than that other Emmy favored HBO comedy *cough* Entourage *cough*

MICHAEL EMERSON without a doubt! It’s past time he won this award for his work on LOST. Amazing actor.

I have to go with Jim Parsons. I was recommended the show by my son’s teacher, who teaches in an autism classroom. She said, “I watch it because it makes me feel like the kids I teach are going to be fine.” So I watched it with my husband, and honestly, I can hardly remember the last time we laughed so hard at something. Sheldon is my hero, and Jim is a freaking star.

Its gotta be Breaking Bad for best drama. It is the best show on TV, and the best acted as well. (Cranston’s win for best actor last year was awesome, and I believe he deserves to repeat). Season 2 of Breaking Bad is probably the best season of TV I have ever seen, and it needs to be rewarded.

Kristin Chenoweth for Pushing Daisies made me literally scream with joy. At least a little bit of love for that treasure of TV that was PD.
And of course, finally some love for How I met your mother and Neil Patrick Harris.
Those three were the best noms.
