I've had 48 hours to recover from the pain of the Umpteenth Annual Emmy Nomination Snubs — no room at the table for Lost's Elizabeth Read the full post.

The supporting actress catagory was a nice surprise, yay for Chenoweth and Wiig, but all is still shadowed by the snubbery of BSG. Yes, I will complain about that into old ladydom. Sad but true.
But also yay for Parsons, HIMYM/NPH and Flight of the Conchords!

  • Is Monk Still On?

Tony Shaloub (sp?)?????? Who does this guy have incriminating photos of?

I love your undying admiration for Vanessa Williams Slez… so yea, Im very happy for her and hopefully her and Kristen Chenowith can tie… I’m quite happy actually that Big Love got a best drama nom even though none of the leads were…

Michael Emerson! Best actor on the best tv show ever. Was sad that Elizabeth Mitchell didn’t make the list (and Josh Holloway – sigh).

Truthfully, I was over the moon to see Neil Patrick Harris nominated WITHOUT Jeremy Piven in the catagory! Hopefully this makes him a shoe-in this year!

    The Chenoweth – Pushing Daisies.

It’s high time Hugh Laurie gets this Emmy. His performance has been exceptional for some years now and he never got past an Emmy nomination (while winning serial Golden Globes). After his exceptional performance during the last few episodes of season 5 I would find it very hard to take the Emmys seriously if he was snubbed once again.

I’m happy about the nominations for Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer. Also happy about NPH hosting the show and getting a nom. Would love to see Michael Emerson win this year, because he is one of the main reasons I love LOST.

Happy about Dexter being nominated. Very good show. Happiest about Aaron Paul for his role in Breaking Bad. I have never seen such a riveting character as AP’s Jesse Pinkman. The episode ABQ where Pinkman is in the crack house mourning the death of his girlfriend deserves the award for that scene alone. Big Love finally gets some emmy love, but no acting noms. Hmmmmm. Very weird.

  • Just my opinions

Jack McBrayer is brilliant, he steals every scene he is in, oh my he is so worthy…Amy Pohler, another brilliant comedian who talent makes her the Lucy of her generation ….Jermaine from FOTC, hottest love child of MickJagger and Benicio DelToro who also was a nice surprise nomination….But Amy Ryan on the Office, now there was a major oversight, her scenes with Steve Carell Academy Award material nevermind emmy!
