It’s a (not so) little known fact that I love myself some Glee. I evenre-watched the pilot with my family during a recent vacation trip tothe beach; the Stacks enjoy a good musical number in between our poorattempts at tanning.
So I was beyond thrilled last week when Fox screened the next TWO(!) Gleeepisodes last week at their headquarters in New York. Here’s a littlepreview of what you all can expect in September when the show (finally)begins airing (SPOILER ALERT). The first ep back is called “Showmance,”and mainly focuses on the relationship between Rachel (Lea Michele) andFinn (Cory Montieth) — both pictured. But the highlight is a raunchy glee clubperformance of “Push It” during a school assembly; as Sandy Ryerson(Stephen Tobolowsky) said in the pilot, “It’s genius!”
Speaking of Sandy, he pops back up in the next episode, “Preggers.” Thestar of this episode though is Kurt (Chris Colfer) who does a hilariousversion of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” He also has awonderfully touching scene near the end of the episode with hisultra-butch father, played by Mike O’Malley. Oh, and there’s a majorpregnancy announcement for one of the characters and it will probablycome as a surprise.
All in all, they were really really fun episodes. The quality seen in the pilot definitely does not waver. If anything, the showseems to be finding its footing and tone.
So, PopWatchers, does this make you even more excited for Glee? Have you been re-watching the pilot?

It just breaks my heart to see someone get SO excited over a show that’s going to be canceled within a matter of months (if not weeks) by Fox. Oh well, enjoy yourself now, I suppose.
(I hope I’m wrong.)
I saw a preview a while back and hated it. They destroyed some of my favorite songs. Critics don’t know everything.
How could you hate it?You are crazy. It is awesomely awesome.
I’m very jealous – and of course, excited as well. Hopefully it won’t be canceled within a month, given all the publicity that Fox has been putting behind it – I just hope that people don’t forget about it from May to September.
I hope you’re wrong too, Ceballos (though I doubt you are).
Mike O’Malley is Kurt father…Genius casting
D is right. Critics don’t know everything. But D does.
GO GLEE!!!
Hate. You.
It is a fun show. I watched the pilot twice as well. Unfortunately Fox probably will cancel it early.
This is a cool site

I heart Glee
I’m still listening to DON’T STOP B-LEVIN several times a week….I cannot wait for the show to come back!
OMG. I love Glee! The night I saw the pilot, I went on itunes and downloaded “Don’t Stop Believin” and I listen to it all the time. I kinda like it even more than the original….I’m excited to see more episodes of the show this fall!
Watched the pilot all the way through about one or two times, watched the “Rehab” and “Don’t Stop Believing” numbers about once a week.
I encourage everyone to subscribe to “gleeofficial” on youtube, they are good about putting stuff up
UGH! I am sooooo jealous!!! I love love love glee. I like you have watched the pilot more times than I can count and I can’t wait for September. Tim Stack, right now I wish I had your job.
yeah, you know your job rules.i love me some glee too!heard there should be a couple more vids/songs released this summer via itunes, sure hope one of them is ‘push it’ can’t wait to see that.lucky you.
Sigh. I love, love, love Glee. I actually just re-watched the pilot (again) last night. Can’t wait for new eps and new iTunes releases. (Also, extreme brownie points if you can talk Ausiello into giving us a hint about who is (or ISN’T) knocked up!)

I finally saw the pilot. LOVE IT! I really hope people latch on to it and FOX has faith in it. Lucky you.
Have seen the pilot at least 3 times. Love it! Can not wait for the new episodes. (I also hope Ceballos is wrong, but with Fox you never know!)
I am soooo jealous. I can’t wait to see the new episodes. I’ve watched the pilot on my TV, on my computer and on my iPod. Is there any truth to the rumor that iTunes will releasing more “Glee” songs ahead of the series launch in September? I would definitely download.
CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!!!
Relationship focusy stuff?! Surprise pregnancy?! KURT DOING SINGLE LADIES?!!!!!
Okay, I am now like, a bagillion times more excited for the fall episodes of Glee. I am already obsessed with it, and I’ve only seen the pilot! (granted, I’ve seen it like, 5 times now but…)
I CANNOT wait for the Glee panel at comic-con and a chance to see the second episode.
I love this show! I don’t know why people get all hot and bothered because they don’t like the way the songs are sung….HELLO…don’t expect for them to sound like the original because it’s sung by a high school glee club. It’s a great show and I will definitely be watching it in the fall. I’m a sucker for good musicals.
Yes, I have been rewatching the pilot!!! I found the version online with the deleted scenes still in it and I’ve seen it 8 or so times. I’m borderline obsessed!!!
I’ve seen the pilot at least 6 times. I saw a preview where they showed a snippit of the Push It number and I literally busted out with laughter. It looks hilarious. It’s one of my favorite dance songs and it seems perfect for the show. I’m ridiculously excited for the show.
My family and I watch the pilot at least once a week since the show aired. I would rather watch this than new reality TV.
I absolutely cannot wait until September. I hate that I am wishing my life way.
I have watched the pilot at least 5 times on my own AND shown it to my less pop obsessed friends. I refuse to have this show go down like all the great ones in the past only to have all my friends discover it from MY dvd collection and be like “oh my god thats a really good show, why did they cancel it do you think?” Cause you didn’t watch you fraker.
