It’s a (not so) little known fact that I love myself some Glee. I evenre-watched the pilot with my family during a recent vacation trip tothe beach; the Stacks enjoy a good musical number in between our poorattempts at tanning.
So I was beyond thrilled last week when Fox screened the next TWO(!) Gleeepisodes last week at their headquarters in New York. Here’s a littlepreview of what you all can expect in September when the show (finally)begins airing (SPOILER ALERT). The first ep back is called “Showmance,”and mainly focuses on the relationship between Rachel (Lea Michele) andFinn (Cory Montieth) — both pictured. But the highlight is a raunchy glee clubperformance of “Push It” during a school assembly; as Sandy Ryerson(Stephen Tobolowsky) said in the pilot, “It’s genius!”
Speaking of Sandy, he pops back up in the next episode, “Preggers.” Thestar of this episode though is Kurt (Chris Colfer) who does a hilariousversion of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” He also has awonderfully touching scene near the end of the episode with hisultra-butch father, played by Mike O’Malley. Oh, and there’s a majorpregnancy announcement for one of the characters and it will probablycome as a surprise.
All in all, they were really really fun episodes. The quality seen in the pilot definitely does not waver. If anything, the showseems to be finding its footing and tone.
So, PopWatchers, does this make you even more excited for Glee? Have you been re-watching the pilot?

It just breaks my heart to see someone get SO excited over a show that’s going to be canceled within a matter of months (if not weeks) by Fox. Oh well, enjoy yourself now, I suppose.
(I hope I’m wrong.)
I saw a preview a while back and hated it. They destroyed some of my favorite songs. Critics don’t know everything.
How could you hate it?You are crazy. It is awesomely awesome.
I’m very jealous – and of course, excited as well. Hopefully it won’t be canceled within a month, given all the publicity that Fox has been putting behind it – I just hope that people don’t forget about it from May to September.
I hope you’re wrong too, Ceballos (though I doubt you are).
Mike O’Malley is Kurt father…Genius casting
D is right. Critics don’t know everything. But D does.
GO GLEE!!!
Hate. You.
It is a fun show. I watched the pilot twice as well. Unfortunately Fox probably will cancel it early.

I heart Glee
I’m still listening to DON’T STOP B-LEVIN several times a week….I cannot wait for the show to come back!
OMG. I love Glee! The night I saw the pilot, I went on itunes and downloaded “Don’t Stop Believin” and I listen to it all the time. I kinda like it even more than the original….I’m excited to see more episodes of the show this fall!
Watched the pilot all the way through about one or two times, watched the “Rehab” and “Don’t Stop Believing” numbers about once a week.
I encourage everyone to subscribe to “gleeofficial” on youtube, they are good about putting stuff up
