Funny, I just got the 1st DVD from the library about a week ago…
I liked it enough (although, was really bummed after Betty left – I liked the character, despite being Noxzema girl). However, after hearing it was cancelled after 2 seasons, I stopped after Ep 6.
Does it have a satisfying conclusion? As much as I love Pushing Daisies, and recommend to people, I have to warn them about abruptly ending.
Is DLM the same way? Just wondering if I should continue watching.

The show itself isn’t bad. DO NOT watch the movie which is horrible and doesn’t have half the cast as the original show.
One of my favorites. The writing was so ON. And it also had the best profanity delivery of any show I’ve seen. Miss these guys. It was ahead of its time, I think.
1st seen the show one late night when i was awake at 2am. loved it so much that i looked it up. i have seen most of the episodes, and was sad to find that it only had a 2 season run. i love Mandy Patinkin… was sad to see he was not in the DVD movie, but if the show was brought back i would be hanging on every episode. liked Daisy better when played by Laura Harris.
i dont like being the barrier of bad news to all the other DLM fans but the possibility of them bring back DLM is very slim
i am very big FireFly and all we got was a Movie, and talk of the sifi network picking up the show. (good thing i’m not holding my breath for it to return.)
if any one from MGM/showtime is looking for any sign this show should return… this is it… DLM is so much better than most of the crap on tv. we are tired of “reality tv” and i cant beleive that i read that you took DLM of to put on that stupid Kristy Alley show… it’s sad when a great show like DLM is sent to the tv grave yard… (punn intended) its hard to find smart tv in this day and age with the endless shows like big brother, jon and kate, and so you think you can dance. blah blah blah …. OMG i get soooo bored with crap tv…
well back to how great DLM is…
it’s great. love how the characters interact. love the cast and how the pull off a show like DLM. not actorr can do this kind of tv/movie. which is why the DVD is not as good.
so all in all i would say if you want a show that will make you laugh, cry, and think then watch DLM. i agree with Alex keep away from the Movie. it was of much lesser quility and i belive the only reason it was done was to placate the DLM fans.
great quotes from DLM
George: I don’t want to fit in, I just don’t want to stand out.
Daisy Adair: If Romeo had just masturbated a couple of times a week he would have saved both those nice families a heap of trouble.
George: Yuck! This juice tastes like ass, here you try it!
Mason: No, thanks. I’m trying to stay off of the ass juice for now.
