The red-band trailer for the Diablo Cody-penned horror film Jennifer's Body, which stars Megan Fox as a possessed high school cheerleader on a male killing spree, has been released, and it's pretty genius. As a Buffy fan, I perked up when Mamma Mia!'s Amanda Seyfried says, "Jennifer's evil….No, I mean, she's actually evil. Not high school evil." I'm sure others perked up every time Fox looks naked (and that time she references going "both ways").For me, the only real surprise in the trailer (aside from seeing Amy Sedaris' name in the credits — awesome) was my reaction when I saw The OC's Adam Brody. He plays the lead singer of a band and wears guyliner. I didn't realize how much I've missed him until that moment, when I thought Please don't kill Adam Brody, even if he is an agent of Satan with a really awesome haircut.Have you missed Brody? Will you be checking out Jennifer's Body when it hits theaters Sept. 18? (And just in case: "Red band" trailer means NSFW.)

I know you guys at EW have been on a company-mandated Megan Fox kick, but I have to admit this trailer absolutely delivers.
Maybe I’ve been getting used to the taste of the Kool Aid, but I like how self-aware Fox is about her image, and doing a movie like this reinforces that. Finally, I was actually more surprised to see her SMILE at the beginning of the trailer than I was to see her (kinda) naked.
I sooo miss Brody!! Can he come back to the land of the consistently working actors now? Please?

Looks good! It looks scary, with that Diablo Cody humor in bits and pieces. Loved Juno, can’t wait to see this. Diablo and horror? What could be better??
Diablo Cody, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody? I think that this will be the first Megan Fox movie I plan to actually see. What has her publicist been paying people lately? God, she’s everywhere. But this movie might actually be good and yes, Adam Brody is welcome anytime.
Adam Brody was the only reason I watched this… that and Amy Sedaris
It looks like a cheap version of Carrie.
They named it Jennifer’s Body and didn’t get the song for the trailer? Lame.
It is good to see Senor Cohen back on camera. Btw, TheWB.com is streaming Season 3 of The OC: http://www.thewb.com/shows/the-oc/
I’m usually against horror movies-out of fear. But, this is one I might actually suffer through nightmares for.
I don’t have a beef with Megan Fox. As someone else mentioned, she seems very self-aware, and that’s refreshing.
I do very much enjoy Adam Brody, but for me, I’m in whenever I see Amanda Seyfried.
Plus, Diablo Cody is pretty awesome, and the trailer delivers some good Cody humor.
But mostly, it was the songs in the trailer that hooked me. The Runaways and The Waitresses. Those are kinda unusual choices. And the way they’re placed in the trailer, it’s kinda quirky and humorous. That gives me hope for the movie.
f’in awesome.
This movie looks awesome! the trailer definitley delivers
A satire and a horror movie? I’m so there.
Very hot and very scary. How did they turn Amanda Seyfeld into a hag, though? I thought that was biologically impossible. CGI, I guess.
Guys will see this movie for Meghan Fox. Period. Girls will see this movie because girls love movies in which men are portrayed as being sexless, powerless, stupid and generally inferior to women. Whatever makes you feel good, ladies.
