I think the subject matter lends it self to going on as long as you want really. I mean as long as you have the taylors and the adault characters or at least the important ones, you don’t need to keep all the student characters around. They can stay until they graduate and move on, just keep one or two of them aroundfor continuity. High schools and highschool football however keep going on year after year and really the only thing that changes for the most part are the students. I think if NBC would find a nice time slot and leave it there this show would develope a large and loyal audience and could realisticaly do tenor even twelve seasons.
