Always loved that clip of James Brown, Michael Jackson and Prince, and it shows that MJ had some respect for Prince, since he “insisted” that JB introduce him. Sadly, the three of them didn’t really perform together, they just took turns…

I’m surprised that Prince hasn’t made a comment about Michael’s passing. Most people erroneously think that they were bitter rivals. In fact, Michael & Prince were somewhat friendly having shot hoops together, talked about touring together a few years back, and the song BAD is long rumored to have originally been planned to be a duet between them but Prince felt that it worked just fine as a solo.
Also, I haven’t seen any comments from Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker, and Chris Rock who all either were friendly or friends with him and often had a lot to say about him.
