After seven episodes of The Bachelorette: Vancouver Tourism Edition, it’s pretty clear our leading lady, Jillian, is an abysmal judge of character with low (and ever-plummeting) self-esteem.I mean, seriously, when you’re dating a man who spends all your time together performing his “first imaginary single” while failing to straightforwardly reassure you he actually is single, it’s a good sign that (in reality TV-speak) he is “not here for the right reasons.” And while I was psyched to see Jillian give a rose to hot and level-headed Argyle Ed — I respect a guy who values his day job over a 1-in-10 chance at televised love…sue me! — I think it’s clear she’d be better off leaving her romantic fate to a group of blog-reading strangers than to continue making decisions for herself. To that end, let’s get together and decide the woman’s future with a handy PopWatch poll! Ready, set, vote (FOR ED)! Sorry, hate Wes but had to vote for him as the one “Jilli” should end up with. At this stage and after watching from the beginning he’s the one she truly deserves! There are many who I prefer over him by a country mile……but that’d be for me not for her!
She and Wes would make an ideal couple and none of the rest of the guys deserve to be second-string on her short list. They’re all better than that.
I had much higher hopes for Jillian as the bachelorette. They’ve all been dashed.
I’m beginning to think Jillian is straight-up mentally deficient. Picking Wes over Jake and then Wes over Michael reveals a woman who really does not want to be married as she claims. She’s just looking for a 2-week fling. My prediction is that she will choose Wes but that they’ve already broken up before this season even started airing.
Like she’s going to actually marry any of these clowns anyway…….
Oh My Gosh, Wes is so lying to her you can tell by his reactions!Everyone loves a charming country boy who can sing, but come on this one takes the cake, I so hope she doesn’t pick him. He may pretend to care for her but he will never make her laugh!
Sorry, I had to vote for Reid. I love his germaphobia. Ed is my second choice, though. And then Michael. I loved Michael’s family… I’m rooting for him to be the next bachelor!
I think Jillian has nothing in that pretty little head of hers. It’s been one bad choice after another with her. I can see why she said she is always the dumpee. That’s because she picks the wrong guys to get involved with.
I am in love with Ed! He is extremely attractive, intelligent and sweet. I think he has good intentions and could be the one for Jillian!
Love is Blind. Jillian you need to apply your business sense to your relationships. Women out there set themselves up every day for failure and the men take advantage of the fact that we often listen to our hearts instead of our heads. If you want to be a doormat thats fine, if not then wake up and smell the stink before you get your heart broken. There are no fairytales out there and if you stop looking for one then maybe you’ll find love. I hate to say it but nice guys do finish last. Women would have told Jillian about Wes immediatly and she would have listened. Instead a nice honorable guy steps forward to do the right thing and gets slammed for it. FORGET the guy code men if you stepped up more often women might actually believe you’re sincere. There used to be honorable men out there what happened to them? I think women have done it to themselves by putting up with this behavior. If we change maybe they will to. Stop sleeping with them and you’ll get to see who they are!
After seeing Michael with his family…I Love him. Sure he is a bit goofy and I am not sure a break dance instructor could support a family, but he is so down to earth, such a gentleman. If Jake can not be the next bachelor then I vote for Michael. Maybe even the first ever Twin bachelors!!
First off, I totally want Michael to myself. Secondly, I would take Ed too. Thirdly, I think Ed is the perfect choice for Jillian and I’m pretty confident that they’ll end up together in the end. She just glows whenever he’s around!
Jake – One of the only ones with the guts to stand up for whats right. I was wondering if anyone cared enough about Jillian to tell her the truth.
Wes – Seems like Jillian is drawn to his type and then she wonders why she always gets hurt. The cycle will continue. I wish she would wake up and see that she deserves a nice guy!!
I live in Chicago and word on the street is that Ed has a girlfriend here in Chi-town.. I hope its not true, but I’m sure it is.
Can’t believe she continues to believe Wes. He’s such a slime-ball. I must say that Kiptyn, Ed, and Reid would be better off doing the same thing that Jake did: telling her what’s what. But even that probably wouldn’t open her eyes. I’m so dissapointed in her–I had higher hopes…
She says she is a good judge of character but she couldn’t see Wes was lying he kept clearing his throat, he coldn’t look at her and he got mad at her for asking. You wouldn’t mind answwering that question a million times if you truly cared about the person. I just wanted to slap her when she picked Wes yet again.
