Team Jon 110% Kate has beat him down, and he just couldn’t take anymore. It’s clear that Kate loves being a so-called celebrity, where Jon just wants to be a dad, living a normal life.
I agree, kate has transform from a nice mom into a superficial monster. Everything has change about kate her looks and her attitude.

Jon is married to a Barbie doll.Most marriage fights are due to lack of finances,Jon and kate making 50 grand an episode with free trips and benefits money least of their worries.You can see how the money transform kate and made her what she is today, i dont blame jon wanting to leave his bossy wife and tryin to live a normal life with a NORMAL women example….The school teacher.
Jon and Kate need to go away… and their kids need to be adopted into decent and caring homes.

Honestly, I’m appalled that this show exists and that it gets enough business to keep going. Every time I see one of these stories pop up on EW, I’m baffled. WHY?
Oh well. People like what they like, and the people like watching other people ruin their lives. Enjoy yourselves on the misery of others!

The new season should be called, KATE RAISING EIGHT and she should raise her kids and leave him in the dust! I know she is tough, but she has 8 kids and a man who can’t handle responsibility. Sorry, I don’t care if he’s only 32 – as he said – he has children and you don’t get to say I’m young and I want to live my own life after you have brought even 1 child into the world. He’s a LOSER!

i think it’s time they put this show to rest. i’d rather not see either one of them on a show – kinda sick of both of them and of the whole situation!
I used to prefer Jon. I related to how he tried to handle his wife and how she bossed him around. It was kind of interesting to see that they cared for each other and related in a way you often don’t see on TV.
However, I do feel that he is not acting responsibly. This is probably for a variety of reasons. He may be reading how so many people feel for him, especially after seeing Kate in a negative light. He no longer is actively working and this can cause problems for many men. He may view himself as no longer being the primary breadwinner, which can also be a problem for some men. With his hair implants he has already shown a propensity towards a “mid-life” crisis.
I just hope that Jon recognizes how important his family is and keeps his priority straight. Most men (primates) prefer a young, attractive woman (theoretically more time and ability to bear children). Most women (primates) prefer a man who gives them attention, makes them smile/laugh, and provides $ecurity.
Jon needs to be ushed to the curb. Although Kate is tough, someone had to make the nasty decisions to keep the family together, and make a living. Jon was fired from his job for being on a computer looking for free things for himself and his kids. Don’t put all the blame on Kate. Jon is lazy, does not want to work, sloppy, wants to play all day on his toys, loves clubbing, drinking, smoking, tats, funky clothes and the list goes on. Kate and her children will be fine. There is no side to take, but Kate will take care of her children and hopefully the kids someday will see what thier Father was really like. I know, been there done that.
I think the show should be taken off the air so they can deal with their issues privately. Kate caused this problem…all I have seen her do for years now is boss him around and treat him like dirt. I don’t blame him for leaving her. They both say that everything they do is for the kids…but to have a sucessful marriage, you must put some effort into the marriage first. If you don’t take care of each other first, then in the end it will hurt your kids.
i want to see kate and the kids. i believe most of the frustration and rudeness we have seen her direct at jon is now explained in his unwillingness to help, his desire to be 21 and kidless and single..he has not done his part in the marriage and thus the balance was way off. if they went to counseling and put each other first in their lives and strived to find happiness and peace their marriage would work. it’s not too late: they can’t go back but they sure as heck can go forward and do this right and be the unique wonderful family of 10 that we grew to love. jon is NOT someone those kids will look up to and respect when they grow older. they will love him but they won’t respect him. unless he turns around and does what it takes to make the marriage work.
Jon or Kate. . .hmmm. . how about NONE OF THE ABOVE? Who wants to watch 8 beautiful children deal with a divorce? Not me. There are better things on TV.
maggie – how do you know he was fired from his job? were you his boss? grow up stupid. both of them caused this and it sucks for the kids, but in this case, divorce is probably the best solution. they obviously don’t like each other. i will still watch cuz i love the kids.
The show should definitely just end. It should have ended a while ago. I hate to think what this is doing to their kids. And the show would just negatively enhance their confusion and anger. Their innocence is being ruined here.
I believe Kate’s bullying pushed Jon out the door & to someone else. I stop watching, it was like watching a train wreck & I am not into other peoples pain. I think apart he will be able to be a great parent. Kate seems more into herself, travel & cosmetic surgery.
There is no reason this show should continue. To put these kids through the effects of the divorce for the sake of someone’s entertainment and to enrich the network(and no matter what you call it, that’s exactly what it is) is shameful.
Money change everything. Look at these “critics”. Do or do they not know what they’re talking about. NOT!
