While I'm not one for buying movie merchandise (aside from the promo can of Booty Sweat that sits on my desk), this is one Twilight-branded product I might probably will buy. And it's not even because I actually use DuWop Lip Venom…it's mostly because it looks cool. Seriously — the venom is mixed with lip stain in a little vial so it looks like blood.
Think of the options: I can wear it around my neck just like Angelina Jolie! Convince my friends that True Blood is real and they can actually get high off of vampire blood (V)! Or I can finally just broadcast the fact that really, inside, I am in fact a gigantic nerd.
My favorite part of this entire thing is how DuWop feels the need to drive the Twilight tie-in point home (''This product should be shaken before use to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds''), when all they really needed to do was drop the T-word and they'd have more online pre-orders than their computer servers can handle.
Is this the Twilight item that will finally get you to shell out some hard-earned dolla billz? Or could you not care less about those stupid vampires and their stupid lipstick?

And I’m probably going to buy the Lip Venom V. I’ve been using Lip Venom for a while and I just like the fact it has lip stain in it (and not to mention I am a little bit of a Twilight nerd…).

There are other “Twilight” lip balms and glosses, but this is one I would actually get. Pretty clever. A lot of people already use Lip Venom and they’re taking advantage of the popularity of vampires right now. Lip Venom and “Twilight” seem like a good match.
No opinion on Twilight, but I HATE Lip Venom. Tried some on once and it was like I had basted my lips with chili paste. Painful swelling = beauty? Do Not Want.

First off, the Twilight series is just horrible. What vampire over 100 years old is going to hang out with teenagers?? I’m 40 and can’t stand them (teenagers). Most all vampires are very classy, mature, sophisticated, sexy, knowledgeable creatures. It just blows my mind that one, or any of them would waste their time in a high school with teenage girls???!!! WTF
Let me guess. You haven’t read the series, am I right? Someone who actually read it might actually have the answer to why he does hang out with teens. And my guess is that the teens in your life probably do not fancy you too much either.

MrDurden. I always laugh at people who feel the need to comment on something they obviously haven’t read and know nothing about. If you had, you would know that the Cullens DON’T “hang out” with teenagers. They attend school so they can live among humans indiscreetly, but they keep to themselves and don’t bother with the teens. Edward especially finds them vapid and annoying. They eat lunch only with each other. They hang out only with each other when not at school. Edward discovers that Bella is NOT like the other teenagers. Next time you want to comment on something, get your facts straight.
She is just like normal teenagers though. That’s why the book appeals to so many young girls, because she is just like every single one of them. I read this article because i find new Lip Venom products interesting, but I also cannot stand Twilight for whatever reasons I choose to have.
