I missed last night’s episode, but I’ll catch it tonight.
How could you leave out the most mesmerizing part of the show–Eric! Alexander Skarsgard is one of the best things about the show. Every second he’s on screen…pure awesomeness. He gets some funny lines, is menacing, and oh wait, is hot and a Viking to boot. Loved him in Generation Kill. More Eric please. Also, who else thought it was awesome for Bill to finally show his fierce side at the end?
I love how Alan Ball is choosing to “humanize” the vampires this season! First with Bill explaining his recycling rules, and now with Eric worrying about blood ruining his new haircut! Too funny!
true blood is good, but it still cant touch The Wire
cody. bro. different vibes. same network is all. comparing the wire to true blood is like gunsmoke and all in the family. enough of that.
as a straight male who can appreciate a cute charismatic male, the double punch of blonde ancillary characters jason and especially the sorely underused eric make me smile. eggs is a cool dude, too…im just stunned that i CARE so much that lafayette continues ‘living,’ alive or dead. how did you do that, alan ball? i woulda accepted any of the character’s deaths on six feet under. i actually WISHED some of them woulda died. how did he DO that? huh?
Loved last nights episode it was awesome, I loved how you saw different sides to both Bill and Eric, we see a little bit of a softer side to Eric, and we see the darker side to Bill all in one episode that was great.
As a vampire writer myself, I’m a huge fan of the TV series as well as Charlaine Harris’s books. Though the plot of the HBO series is moving significantly away from the books, I’m appreciating them both. Alan Ball adds great tidbits like the salon cape and foils on Eric (my favorite character and muse for my vampire, Luciano), and Maryann’s great sucker punch last week about the towels, but the depth of character development the books provide is truly mesmerizing. Not since Twilight have I been so captivated by a series. And if you want MORE noble vampires, check out Love Fang and Fang Shui @ http://www.thedarkcastlelords.com
I’m wondering about a “shirt law” instead, seeing as how 1) Jason, 2) Bill, 3) “Eggs” and 4) Lafayette were ALL topless with major lingering coverage in under one hour. And Jason’s nasty new roommate caling him a “bim” – too close to the mark. I’m wondering how come Maryanne, with all the world to pick from, decides to “play” with a bunch of rednecks in a swamp country honky tonk, unless she has some major issues to resolve with Sam – besids making him into Lassie and not providing any dog treats. And what was up with Eric being a follower of Lafayette’s web site (“your fans miss you”) and exchanging hair care tips… Finally, Maryanne, for all that cash, estate and towle guy, needs better wheels than a 25 year old Jag.
I love this show! It is the one show my husband and I get together to watch no matter what else we have going. But I am not excited about the direction they are taking jason in. It’s just a little strange. But I am so excited to see what is going to happen next.
Alex Skarsgard is amazing. I’ll never get tired of watching him. Hottest guy on tv, for my money.
The show was excellent. I am a HUGE fan!!!!!!!!! The scene between Bill shopping for Jessica & Eric finding him was priceless – I couldn’t stop laughing!!! I’ve read the entire series at least three times, & it never ges boring!! It will be very interesting to see where he takes the line with Jason, as this never happened in the books. I can’t wait to see how it all ends up!!!!!!
I vote a strong “Yey” to Shirtless Law section 2A, and propose a 2B to include Alexander’s character Eric.
Anyone who has seen Generation Kill knows Skarsgard looks fine shirtless
There’s a divine scene in the second to last installment where we get a nice long look.
Shirtless law act MUST include Eric. I could watch him over, and over, and over.
Great episode. Mary Ann is so interesting. I still don’t know what she wants from Sam.
I like seeing Tara with Eggs.
Poor Sookie thought she was helping Jessica.
I loved the scene between Bill and Eric at Forever 21.
Lafayette is very strong and smart. The hip replacement scene was so gory. He’ll may a great vampire.
Jason’s plot is the weak link and big ups for shirtlessness.
