Give the negative stuff about Susan Boyle a rest. She didn’t “comeback” from anywhere. Professional singers will tell you that the schedule they set up for her was cruel and greedy. Simon cowell sounds like he’s apologizing but only for not realizing how “fragile” whe was. Nonsense. It was his prodcution people that created the stress. They gave her a new voice coach, changed her style of singing and delivery as well as her appearance, made her sing a song they wanted not what she did, and his PR people let the press get away with untrue stories. (No photos of them in this day and age – strange since someone would have made a mint.) You can fawn over him all you want, but money does not make him a decent one. She is delivering audiences and money to him big time, and still he carps and worse yet makes ugly innuendos.
I had never heard of him before Susan, then heard he was an odious man, and now I know its true.
Susan your a darling!you have achieved something. If you never sell a record. The gutter press well thats why they called (gutter)next days fish and chip paper.Nobody cares if news of world editor lives or? but well done on dreaming the dream girl! You got the last laugh on them . Good luck!ingat palagi. x
God bless Susan Boyle who continues to pour out her sweet and lovely talent on undeserving humankind. Thank you to those who appreciate her. Thank you Susan, for your soulful gift and purity of heart. The angels and heaven protect you always and true and good friends, too. You are so beautiful! Profoundly and gratefull yours, a grateful fan. May you be very happy. We love you.
Long live the pure inspiration of Susan Boyle and may God protect his own. Thank you for singing for us. You echo through the halls of heaven and earth!
I LOVE YOU SUSAN BOYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No one is jealous of Susan Boyle. If you think that, get over your Bible-thumping self, DESIREE.
And, for some of you younger posters, 48 does not make you an old lady. Most 40-somethings participate in life, care for ailing parents, raise children, work at meaningful jobs, and manage to groom themselves.
Yes, she sings great! But if you want to be a pro, you gotta show up–no matter what you do. I love how talented and ordinary she is, too, but to give her super-human characteristics is just ridiculous.
Quite a few of the BGT contestants have taken time off during this grueling tour schedule, but only Susan Boyle’s time off gets crazy attention or any attention in the media. And omg, you sound quite arrogant & uncompassionate in your remarks or maybe you are superwoman yourself. I’m 53 y.o. & I took care of my parents in their dying months/years. And yes, I also work a full-time job that most people would find too stressful for even a few days. I’ve done it for over 20 years now. Taking care of my parents in their final months/years was exhausting in every way, especially emotionally to watch someone you love dying, getting worse in spite of how hard I worked to take the best care of them. The stress is correlated to what terminal illness they have. So, don’t be so judgemental & make it sound like a normal thing that everyone does. It isn’t. It usually falls on one of the adult children to be the primary caretaker, no matter how many siblings one has. & yes- standing ovation to Susan!
I’m pretty sure that Susan Boyle is borderline DD (developmentally delayed). Her affect and her facial features indicate this. Someone has to be realizing this and looking after her. I’d prefer if she just recorded and skipped the live shows.
Have your really searched your own hearts and asked yourself WHY do you need to judge her this way – can you ever just stop and enjoy the moment and cosmic meaning of susan boyle?
I saw Susan Boyle in Glasgow on Monday and Edinburgh on Tuesday-absolutely delightful-she has done more in the pat 8 weeks than most of the naysayers ever will. She’s in the game instead of standing on the sidelines running her mouth..You go girl!
I am so PLEASED with this performance – wonderful. I didn’t really like her rendition when she missed a couple of notes about a month ago. I am NOT tired of hearing about her, I am always interested – when her name comes up on the news my ears pick up. I wonder why, I am not a celebrity follower generally.
I am a big big fan. I don’t usually follow celebrities but I can’t get enough of Susan Boyle. ( Idon’t think my other message posted)
Why give up on a God given talent that is so above the others?? I certainly enjoy listening to her.
Has anyone ever noticed that all the ‘bad’ stuff that Susan supposedly had done was actually only reported by one rag? The Daily Mirror. The UK equivalent of the US National Enquirer. Always it’s an unnamed witness. Cannot be corraborated. Even if Susan hung from the chandeliers and scatched her armpits for a moment. Let her have her peace. I don’t for one, believe a word that rag reports. It has no credibility in my eyes. This woman has done more in a few weeks than almost anyone in history when you think about it. She has an innate honesty. This (besides her wonderful voice) is also what is touching people. Scoff if you must. But I will have to say, that those scoffing will never ever begin to accomplish the inspiration and warm feelings this woman bring out. I also need to mention, has anyone noticed but she just keeps getting better and better as her confidence grows and grows. Good on you Susan.
What a lovely voice Susan Boyle has. She seems very gentle, kind, and has a genuine natural charm. If she succeeds with her singing, more power to her. I would buy anything she recorded. Her talent is real.
