Everywhere you turn these days, there's a zombie: in Jane Austen, in Harvard lectures, in excellent comic books, and awesomely horrible movies. Undead is the new black. But with the exception of the phenomenal Shaun of the Dead, zombies aren't usually played for laughs. And then comes the trailer for Zombieland.
I don't know if this movie's gonna be any good, or if it's gonna stink like a shambler left out in the sun. But it's got attitude, a sense of humor, and Woody Harrelson, looking like he's having he time of his life.
Whaddya think, P-Diddlies? Are you totally zombied out, or is this flick one for the to-do list?

I think this has the potential to be a nice American companion piece to “Shaun of the Dead”. Looks fun!
It looks cool and if Abigail Breslin is in it, it must be good.
But why the obsession with zombies and vampires?
It actually looks kinda cool…i would go see this….no i will go see it
HAHAHAH, that totally looks funny! and yeah, totally looks like the american version of Shaun of the Dead….but hey, i’m always up for mindless entertainment!
Looks great! Also a funny zombie movie: Fido. Let’s not forget that one! Hilarious. And that one came out after Shaun of the Dead.
@Berna: you took the words out of my fingers! I was thinking the same thing, I wish we could move beyond zombies and vampires on cinema; cops, lawyers, doctors on tv.
Having said that, I will see this ’cause it looks fun. And what’s with that weird boy with curly hair and movies ending in “land” first adventureland now zombieland?
That looks like a lot of fun! I’m stoked!
I cracked up with the piano bit. Loved the narrator. Sounded a bit like Patrick Stewart. Woody does look like he’s having the time of his life.
I’ll see it.
I watched this without sound and it was still hilarious. IN.
Excellent use of original Van Halen. It shows promise.
I can’t wait. I love Zombie movies and Woody is awesome.
oh my gosh! this movie is going to be freakin awesome!!!! i cant wait!!!
Another zombie comedy I think is pretty good is ‘Undead’. It’s a low budget film out of Australia.
And if you haven’t downloaded and played “Plants vs. Zombies” (I think it’s PopCap that makes it), you’re missing out. My family has been addicted to this thing for the past two weeks, with the haunting theme in your head 24/7.
ummm, i’ll pass
