Piers was so right when he spoke about Susan Boyle coming along, when the world really needed her.Something just as precious as can be,to take our minds off of the floundering economy.I mean, it was like the man up above heard our wimpers, and brought us this wonderful Scottish angel to ease our pains, and to give us hope. What a blessing, that this woman had the courage of David to face the world, and sing something nice for us.To use a negative word towards this angel that’s in our midst, for maybe only a wisp of time in the great scheme of things.I for one, feel like the luckiest man alive,to even have seen her face, and to hear her sing. How wonderful it feels to be alive.Susan boyle is very welcomed by most to,come to America, and sing her heart out, like she did in Britain.Come visit us Susan Boyle! You’re loved here.I would kiss your feet if you would here.
Some of you should feel ashamed!
I sure feel better! How about you all?
Oh, yes! America, please take her. Britain is exhausted from the hype, The Priory hasn’t got enough space to take us all in for rehab.
I don’t watch America’s Got Talent. American Idol is more than enough for me, as I’m not much of a tv watcher. But if Susan Boyle was on? Heck yeah! She should come here, where she is really loved, and do a tour. Britain doesn’t seem care that much for her. They voted for some dance act over her. We will be more than happy to take her here.
A big YES to I would watch if Susan Boyle was on AGT!. Susan has inspired me with her courage, spirit and talent. I am looking forward to following and supporting her career.
Well, I haven’t and won’t watch any of the reality shows, EXCEPT any one of them on which Susan appears. Like millions of others, I found her on YouTube and was smitten. She has me hook, line and sinker, and I can’t get enough of her singing, news, pix, anything about her. Guess I’m obsessed, but I love her and if she’s not your cup of tea that’s ok. Just let me revel in the hype! I’ve never understood why someone would want to watch, read or comment on something they don’t enjoy though. It’s the media you should be upset with if you’re tired of the hype, not her. She just wants to sing.
Susan Boyle has endured more than many of us could stomach, with grace and wit. I think we should encourage this wonderful woman in her vocal pursuits. Would any of us risk so much?
What a wonderful singer and woman! What of us would risk such a great performance?

No Susan Boyle please. Have no interest in watching her or having the media circus that follows her on our side of the pond. If people want inspirational stories, how about inner city kids learning the arts in urban programs, or conservatory students, or inner city scholarship students at schools for the arts? There are many, many poor young people who could benefit from even a fraction of the interest and money that are gushing the way of Britain’s latest media sensation. Americans have lost perspective, buying into the British hype. I’d rather invest in young talent and young lives, kids with a dream who need our help. And I don’t mean older people shouldn’t be artists, but it’s not Susan we’re all supporting with this. It’s Simon Cowell and Syco. Find some American kids instead, who have a dream, and no hope of making it come true w/o our help. I would much rather see that than Susan Boyle. She’ll do fine without us. Think of Americans with a dream who need help.
How do poll numbers go DOWN? I looked at this poll several days ago, and the “No’s” were at 39%. Now they’re at 23% . Is this an advertisement? ‘Cuz something is off.
I agree with Rachel’s comment, about young American artists. (I also don’t like all the British hype).
Criticizing Susan Boyles “exhaustion” is wrong!! There are numerous things that make one “exhausted” and not all are physical…emotional strain is very exhausting. Her life was not just quiet, it was probably a bit (or a lot)sedentary. She didn’t work, she probably didn’t live by a calendar, no need, she didn’t have phone calls or media pushing her, prodding her 24/7, she was able to get a full 8 hours of sleep…give the woman a break! Of course she is going to be exhausted until she begins to toughen up..mentally and physically..which I think she will if she desires this profession strongly enough. She how she is holding up a year from now before you criticize her exhaustion.
