Tom Lenk, our beloved Andrew from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, turns 33 today. Not sure what to get him? According to his latest Tweet, he would like to experience the best burger Salt Lake City has to offer. (He's there filming My Girlfriend's Boyfriend with Christopher Gorham and Alyssa Milano.) So how about the gift of knowledge? Where should he go?

As far as the best burger Salt Lake City has to offer, here are three excellent choices (and I was born there and lived there for 18 years, so I know):
5 Guys Burgers and Fries, 1146 Fort Union Blvd: Not a Utah original, but still mighty good.
Acme Burger Co, 275 South 200 West: Good burgers, excellent fries, and good milkshakes.
The Counter Burger, 18 North Rio Grande St: Excellent burgers, and every conceivable kind of topping that you can put on them. Also, their garlic aioli sauce is wonderful for both burgers and dipping fries.

Aww, happy birthday Tom Lenk!!! I saw those YouTube vids awhile back and fwded them to everyone I know. Tom is absolutely AWESOME–there’s no other supporting character on Buffy/Angel that can make me laugh the way he does. “Storyteller” is one of my fav comic Buffy eps (“Gather round…”)–and seeing him on Angel in s5 was such a delightful surprise! Happy Birthday again, Tom, and I hope you find your burger!!
Aw, I do miss Andrew. To add to Alex’s list, Salt City Burger is pretty tasty (9176 S Village Shop Drive). You also cannot go wrong with the homegrown “fast food” restaurants: Crown Burger, Apollo Burger, and Astro Burger.
