Everybody’s talking about who has girlfriends at home. Let’s revisit the last Bachelor. Suppose Melissa went on the show with 2 purposes a boyfriend who for whatever reason wasn’t on the same page with her or just a boyfriend, and a great opportunity to advance a career (who’d blame her for using the talents the creator gave her). Then, surprise, she wins. Back in Dallas her boyfriend and parents who didn’t want to be on the show plead. She also doesn’t really want to leave Dallas and has a little more career growing to do. Jason is either told the truth or figures it out. Melissa goes on dancing wt stars and America loves her (and so do I-she’s gifted) ABC hires her, Jason and Molly are made for each other and Melissa finally gets engaged to her boyfriend. Everybody is happy! And Jason like any true hero decides to protect a woman (Melissa) he cares about by taking the blame for what in hindsight isn’t a mess at all!

Hi,
After all the talk about who had boyfriends on this current session, it might be fair to reassess Jason Mesnick’s finale. Suppose for a moment you’re Melissa and you want to get ahead in the world. Hey, that’s fine, use the talents the creator gave you, right. Suppose she goes on the Bachelor with two purposes (like Wes) and a boyfriend at home that just doesn’t want to progress to the next step (maybe). Then, shock of all shocks you win. You go home, your boyfriend pleads, as well as your parents. Jason is calling, come to Seattle. You change! You don’t really want to leave Dallas and you really need to grow your career a little more. Then comes dancing with the stars. You do great, America loves you (and so do I). Finally you get a job with ABC and engaged to the same boyfriend. Since Jason and Molly were really meant for each other (and they sure seem to be) everybody’a happy. Under this scenario Jason, who likely knew, protected a woman he cared deeply for and took the heat!!

It is always difficult watching a wonderful person make bad choices. But choosing Wes explains why Jillian has had trouble in past relationships. She needs to truly see what is in front of her, not what she wants to see. Both Jake & Juan surpass Wes in integrity. Get smart Jillian!

*Note: Written after seeing Jillian with the four families and Jake showing up to tell Jillian Wes would break her heart. Such a sleazy looking guy.
What a shame! Jillian seems to have had such a good time with Jake. He seems like a real winner . . . He’s the one I thought she’d keep. I’d pick him in a minute! How about having Jake for the next bachelor?
I just pray Jilllian gets some smarts – after realizing Messnick had feet of clay, how can she not see thru Wes?
