This week on Must List Live!, we dish on last night’s delicious True Blood season premiere as I lay out for Jessica Shaw the three important (in my mind) things she needs to know to get into HBO’s juicy vampire drama. But that’s just to start things off. We also have American Idol winner Kris Allen stopping by to tell us all about what’s on his Must List. Now, seeing True Blood and Kris Allen together in one show would be enough for most, but not us! Because we’re freakin’ insane like that! The clearly Emerilphobic Jessica and I also break down the lameness of Jon & Kate’s 100th episode, share thoughts on Top Chef Masters, and conclude our Comic-Con giveaway by announcing the lucky winner of the big prize package. KOL!! This is why Kris Allen rocks. And I just had to check out A Long Way Gone. Non-fiction about a child-soldier from Sierra Leone. Wow. I don’t think I’ve heard of any Idol winner who is into such heavy reading material. I am blown away. My respect for him grows evermore.

“True Blood” is a mature version of “Twilight.” Both are intriguing but I enjoyed “Twilight” more as a book. Speaking of books, Kris Allen’s choice is a very inspiring one. He is truly a refreshing artist. I will definitely buy his CD.

@Emily: TWilight is a watered-down, G-rated, Lame version of the Sookie Stackhouse series. the author of those twilight books just copied what other authors had already done and done better. But I’m sooo EXCITED that True Blood is back and I love Kris Allen. I can’t wait to hear his album!!

LOVE kris allen and his taste in music and books ( a long way gone was my recent pick for a book club). any twilight fan would enjoy true blood…its more campy, sexy, violent & the scenes btw bill and sookie are too fking hot for words. last nite? wow

Everyone’s jumping on the kings of leon CD…it seems to be the “pat” answer for everyone to give on their “what are you listening to” list however, it’s not selling so what gives? also, Kris is adorable but he needs to learn to speak up.
