A must see for me in Oct !
leo can act quite well (departed, blood diamond, revolutionary road, aviator) and scorsese is one of the best directors of our time. the film should be good.
Looks awesome, like Marty does Hitchcock. Should be huge, seems like it’s being positioned as more genre than prestige.
I think it looks suspenseful and intriguing and just the right amount of creepy, but who knows? Previews lie sometimes…but my desire to see Leonardo DiCaprio in another movie is shutting up the part of my brain that thinks this might turn out to be a little contrived.
I hope this proives to be one of the few instances where the movie exceeds the book. I read all of Lahane’s stuff and enjoyed it up till this one. This book stunk.
Sorry, Scorsese is a gimmicky, nervous, silly director who gets sites like this to fawn over him because he steals from Hitchcock, also a grossly overrated icon. “Gangs” got the same sort of breathless hype, and was predictably terrible.
I can’t believe what I’m reading! The book was incredible and the ending is what made the story. It wasn’t what anyone was expecting. I can’t wait to see the movie.

WOW! I read the novel and loved it. Was not expecting the end of the reading, though. The trailer looks intense. Can’t wait to see yet another masterpiece by Leonardo DiCaprio.

This looks like it could be a virtuoso cinematic masterpiece!
I can’t wait for October 2, 2009!
The book was INCREDIBLE! For that reason alone, I’ll be shelling out the cash for this movie. But seriously, read the book. Read the book. Read the book. You won’t be disappointed.
looks fantastic, as was the book.
Once a fan always a fan
The book was fabulous. Movie trailer looks to live up to book.
Ending will floor you. A must read and a must see. Oscar time!!
