In an MSNBC interview today, Contessa Brewer ferociously batted cat toys around via satellite with radio host John Ziegler, whose on-camera presence is strongly reminiscent Read the full post.

Contessa Brewer is a tart. She bashed Don Imus for the same conduct. Now she is defending Dave Letterman.

I love how insulted she is when he says that Palin acted classier than most people at MSNBC would have, but would not be insulted being called a slut or have her daughter called a slut. Ridiculous! And people wonder why no one takes the media seriously anymore.

To Carol: If Lettermen gave the same joke but used one of the Obama girls instead of Palin’s daughter as the object of Spitzer’s lust or that she was raped by A-Rod, would that be acceptable to you. You may not admit it, but I bet you would be indignant. I would NEVER want my daughter used in that context, would You? Don’t let your lefty attitude influence you. Think seriously about what you wrote.

Oh please, this guy doesn’t care about Sarah Palin or anyone else. He is out to promote and sell his new video by using the new Republican punch and run tactic. I used to be a Republican….now I’m embarrassed and disgusted by them. Talk about an unpatriotic party. They want Obama (and this country) to fail just to make their point. Please….if they are seriously going to promote or support an unqualified, unintelligent, embarrassment like Sarah Palin…they deserve what they get…which is losing any future elections. MSNBC is not the problem….stop whining and start giving us some substance and solutions to our problems.

contessa is way out of her league in this interview and the comment that she made about being offended -doesn’t she even get the irony
maybe she should limited to interviewing cookbook authors

Contessa claimed she was once referred to as being “slutty”. Maybe she is and that is why she was not offended. She thought it was a compliment.

HATS OFF to Contessa for putting Ziegler in his place – “silence”! The cutting of the mic comment was exactly what he deserved. Obnoxious is too kind to describe him. I followed my curiosity (& a link) to Ziegler’s Media Malpractice Website to see “How Obama got elected”. The video was beyond hilarious, it was down right insulting to anyone with a fifth grade education. What a joke. And to think this type of a person profits tremendously from the sputum emanating from his lips. And even more tragic, there are people who follow this Pied Piper. Someone please help us!

To ROberta Pineda: You are truly a wise man who understands the serious problems we are facing with Obama as president. How long will he continue to blame Bush for the huge debt we now have. Bush did not give us the debt we are now facing. Bush did not condone changing our constitution.

Loved watching Contessa get so fired up over something that Letterman was so wrong to do! When did it become okay in our nation to call anyone a slut or talk so harshly about their children. Truly tasteless Mr. Letterman.

I can’t believe what I am reading and the way the left wing media is playing this David letterman insult. All that is being reported is him calling her slutty and not saying anything about what he said about her 14 yr old daughter getting “knocked up” by Alex Rodriguez. this is how the media is playing people in this country who don’t look beyond the tip of their nose to find out what is happening in this country and apparently there are at least 52% that is too lazy to look beyond their noses.

Contessa Brewer hasn’t got a clue how biased msnbc was during the pres. election. As was most of the main stream media. As for Letterman’s jokes, he obviously is anti-gop and his jokes were in poor taste. But thats the way the media operates which is why I gave up watching his show and networks that promote a pro political agenda. Whatever happened to entertainment. Brewer acts offended by Ziegler trying to get his message across on a network that is totally in the tank for Comrade Obama, but sees nothing wrong with Lettermans jokes. I never see letterman or anyone on msnbc commenting on VP Binden’s daughter getting caught on video doing drugs, but Palin’s daughter is fair game for them. Hypocrits…

David Letterman is not funny. Never has been. The comment about Palin’s daughter was really not a classy thing for a dirty old man to say.

  • Suzanne Armstrong

Governor Palin said his comment was pathetic… she did not say he was, even if he is…. She doesn’t need to sink to his level.

  • mw

Yahoo!! Way to go, John Ziegler!! I’m sure Contessa didn’t mean to be funny. But funny she was!!! She was hysterical!!! I howled and howled. What a light-weight.

I saw this exchange live and again online just now. What you saw was Ziegler employing the classic “change the subject to try to frame the debate” strategy so often used by people with agendas to push. My only question was why he was a guest in the first place. Sarah always appears on talk shows that favor her point of view. Ziegler clearly added nothing to the story.
